Anyone Got good Results Using a Dermastamp?

29 posts in this topic

I am going to buy both of these, the dermaroller and the dermastamp.

Can anyone tell me of their experiencess with the Dermastamp and which one in particular did u order?

I think the dermastamp is the safer of the 2 options. Less chance of needles bending and also less likely to end up with 'trackmarks' from the dermastamp, than a dermaroller.

I have been told by others that they were not really impressed with Divine Beauty's dermastamp, besides being waaaay expensive, it didnt seem as impressive as the ones you can get on ebay.

Anyone want to comment?

Hi hiclub2,

Can you tell me where you are having your PRP therapy? I live in the United States, but am willing to travel.

Thanks.

honeygirl- how many times are u planning to stamp it on your scars per week?

Hmm, well it all depends.

if i get the 1.5mm, just once every 4-6 weeks.

1.5mm is the perfect length for what we want to achieve.

anything shorter is not going to hit the dermis, or so I have been told.

hiclub, u never did say. what needle length is your dermastamp?

so far, I am having a hard time trying to track down a reputable dermastamp that is that length.

there is one good quality one but it comes in a 1.00mm or 1.8mm

1.8mm i think is too harsh

to be honest with you.... I do not know what is the length for my dermastamp.

I am just getting treatment by doctor and I do it 3-4times per week.

I've notice dermastamp is good with active acne also :)

at the derm office they put on numbing cream but at home i did not use any numbing cream.

i did dermastamp last week and I am planning to do 3-4times per week... I like the result... so far... it really helps on your skin tone and active acne

P.S. my scar has improved dramatically...

if you are doing this 3-4 times per week, it woudl be prolly around a 1.00mm needle size.

I have been using the dermastamp for the past several months.. honestly the results are slow but there are huge signs of improvement which continues to give me hope. The best thing you can do is stick with it. first off though, i dont believe you should be doing the dermastamp 1-3x a week, you are not giving your skin time to heal or produce collagen which takes some time. By doing this i think you may actually be doing more damage to your skin. Some people say that you should use the dermastamp every 6 weeks, but everyones skin is different and at one point i went almost 13-15 weeks without using the dermastamp and saw that my improvements began to really show on the 10th week. Sometimes you may just need to give your skin that break from the dermastamp to allow the skin to heal but again everyone's skin is different, that had only happened to me

I do have to use numbing cream though, I have a high tolerance for pain but i want to make sure that i am working the skin as aggressively as i can. The dermastamp is the same concept as the dermaroller but just in stamping fashion. I needle the scars individually before using the dermastamp though just to make sure that I am working the scars that i have been having issues with. I also use red/infrared-yellow LED's too which work wonders.. read up on that or search these forums. I have found myself solely using terproline as the topical of choice on my face. I was using copper peptides but did not notice much improvement with that but i didnt really use it faithfully to know if it would work. Some people say it takes months for copper peptides to show improvement on your skin. But overall, the dermastamp does work, just gotta give it time to see improvements.

btw, improvements are not seen in one day, that is only microswelling that will go down after a few days. This procedure is not something you should do gently or else you wont work your scars the way they should in order to tear the scar tissue. This procedure you MUST be aggressive with which is why you need a numbing cream. If you choose not to use a numbing cream then ok but i doubt you will be as aggressive as you should be as if you had the numbing cream on your face. The dermastamp is in no way good for ACTIVE acne. You should avoid stamping until you have your acne under control or you will make matters worst

Best of luck to you in this search for perfect skin!

thx for your experience.

I think I got results from PRP injection more than Dermastamp. I did dermastamp at the derm office and I did put on numbing cream and the nurse stamped my face harshly. At home, I dont use numbing cream and I don't do it as harshly. Also, the doc told me to stamp on my face 3times per week without numbing cream.

hi bxplayboy7

could you please let me know which dermastamp you used, and at what length it was?

I hope I can do this as harshly as needed.

Actuallyl, I have decided to get my sister to do it. I think they may be a better idea!

TIA!,

Honey

Honey Girl, don't know if you remember me but you've PM'd me before and I've also answered some of your questions in some threads.

I guess I can assume you haven't tried needling yet, right?

It took me maybe 3 years after I learned about needling to finally get over the idea of needles in my face.

I hope you don't wait that long, but I sense you're still in that phase.

hiclub2, derma stamp good for active acne? Are you serious? That's definitely a NO. That's one of the first warnings, do not needle active acne!

I'm kind of thinking you may have a different product, or the needles very short. If you use 1.5mm needles and do it correctly you will definitely see bleeding, and in my case I need to wipe the blood about every 10 stampings because too much blood accumulates.

Hi there tj101! course I remember you! :)

I just updated. I posted about my first visit to a cosmetician.

Anyway, I got a question.

Do you think if you have dark skin, that dermastamp/dermaroller at 1.5mm can be a big risk

to hyperpigmentiation?

Honey
