Acne NOW or Cancer LATER?

I dont care how wrong that is, my face has gradually got like this the last month or two and Ive gone from being out with my mates all the time to not wanting anyone to see me.
Its ruined everything and ive been searching for ways to solve this but it seems so much harder to rid face of all these severely blocked pores than normal acne because changing diet/lifestyle seems to have worked for a lot of people in calming down/hraling inflamed acne but it seems once pores are seriously clogged its very hard to get rid of them and even harder to keep them clean.
fuck this

If I could trade a sickly latter end of life for clear skin now, I would do it in a heartbeat.

My dad had both. Fuck you all. Fuck all this shit
I don't feel everyone in this thread is inconsiderate/disrespectful to people with cancer. I think that the OP's question is formulated in a maybe not so smart way. A lot of people here are teenagers...which is something to keep in mind. A lot of the time they don't stop to think about certain things while they should. Also many people here are strung out and stressed which sometimes results in threads being posted that could/should have been thought through more.
I'm sorry to hear you were offended.

Also, I don't think it would be fair towards my closest ones, since cancer can kill you, acne cannot.

But for the sake of the thread - I'd still choose to have acne now rather than cancer later (whenever later is). I'd choose acne even though it has horrible emotional / mental health impacts and affects how I interact with people sometimes. I know that dealing with cancer would be so much worse and quality of life living with cancer would be far far worse than with acne. I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone - nor acne - but I think if it was as easy as making a choice for one over the other, anyone who chose cancer would be regretting that choice pretty quickly...

one has cancer and the the other one doesnt. one who has cancer got it cured, but still gets crap. the other one who is cancer free has alcheimers and get plenty other crap as well. either way both have lot of old age shit and thats totally regardless of cancer.
point is, in old age youll be fucked anyway? and i agree to poster 3 posts above, fuck all of this.

You can actually cure both by eating just plant-based. I am a vegan for life and I eat mostly veggies and fruits. My skin is starting to glow, but I have new acne scars which sucks, but it will cure it soon. I am sure I won't have it for ever. I will also be prevented from cancers and diseases. I will live longer and have a lot of energy and look great.
Vegan is the way to live.
Sorry to have disappoint you but Robin Gibb was an "ardent" vegan and a teetotaler and he still got cancer.

I completely disagree with this statement; In fact, it comes across as quite ignorant. A healthy diet (be it vegan or another form) can most certainly aid in cancer prevention (to some extent) and even, in some cases, as treatment. However, it is assuredly not a cure. As for acne scarring, I also highly doubt a diet is an effective "cure".

Yeah, but that's probably rare. I think he lacked of raw percentage. it is recommended to go 80% when you're old ;\ lots of veggies and fruits~
It is important to protect yourself and only plants provide all the protection. So I am happy being a vegan regardless of skin problems. I prefer health more than skin problems

What does that mean?

The mind is a powerful thing; if you actually believe that then being a vegan may indeed make you more healthy!

There's nothing wrong with living a vegan life but it doesn't necessarily mean that you will avoid all cancers and diseases. You may lessen your risk of diseases that have things like obesity as a risk factor if you eat healthy and exercise but there are many risk factors and reasons people can get diseases. And as long as you're stil getting the needed amounts of protein etc that non-vegans or non-vegetarians get a lot of from meat, it is still very healthy
And like Lapis mentioned - a lot of it could be to do with the mind set of a person
But like I said - nothing wrong at all with being vegan - and if you love it, continue with it! Definitely healthier than if someone was eating fast food every day

But I think it's good to remember what works for one person may not work for another...
I don't know where you learn that! But going 80% or more raw, mostly veggies and fruits will protect you a lot. At least going vegan will prevent heart disease which is the number one killer in USA. It also prevents other diseases and cancers.
