I want to use Vitamin E after Glycolic Acid 10% from Alpha Hydrox. Will the GA intensify the Vitamin E?

REALLY trying to gt rid of these scars - my Lactic Acid 50% isn't really doing anything... Maybe 10% difference after 7 peels in 3 1/2 weeks.

I found this in google real quick: http://www.ncbi.nlm..../pubmed/9305527
Something about synergy, I'm too tired to think.
Have you thought about buying a stronger peel, or going to someone who can apply the stronger acids on your face?

I actually read that a couple of months ago, but I'm not sure of the amount of IU's of E or percentage of GA. I'm looking for specialist in my area for the peels now. Thanks smile.gif

Well, when I finish the bottle (maybe 5-6 more peels) I'll have a definite answer. For now though, nope. I am adding hydroquinone back into my regimen even though I don't want to. But that seems the least drastic right now.

i just started 40% lactic acid hoping it wouldnt cause a lot of recovery time, since it was recommended for scars but didnt cause excessiv peeling, but oh well

I just read that article on synegistic effect or whatever. but it was very confusing, just to be clear. is it beneficial to use glycolic acid and then vitamin e after?? or was it trying to tell you not to do that
