I just saw Star Trek - Chris Pine has acne scars

he's abnormally beyond ordinarily gorgeous. Most of us probably wouldnt be here, even with the acne/scars we have, if we looked like him.

just saying.

Same here! I thought he was unbelievably hot as soon as I saw him, and when I noticed the scars I was like, "Aww...that just makes you more adorable."

On another note, have you heard that he's apparently dating that Audrina girl from The Hills? :snooty: Do better, Chris Pine.

my regimen.

Morning:

Drink at least a glass of water.

Wash face with Olay Sensitive Skin Foaming Wash or water.

Apply Cetaphil Lotion.

Night:

Take Ortho Tri-Cyclin

Remove makeup with wipes.

Wash face with Olay.

Status: 90% clear of active acne. I just stopped giving a crap and got on a good birth control. Your skin can work itself out 80% of the time and nothing you put ON it is going to help forever. Your skin doesn't work like that. Topical stuff just delays skin's problems or makes them stop temporarily. You have to stop trying so damn hard to control your skin and, if that doesn't work, you probably need Accutane or something else to correct the INTERNAL cause of your external problem.

I can't believe how many scars he has! Like something like about like zero!

LiEk Omg!1!1 You should watch the movie. That picture doesn't show anything. They're even talking about it on the IMDB boards.

I think he had some work done on his face between the filming of the movie and when it was released because in the movie it's a lot more noticeable. He did have almost a year to have laser treatments or whatever.

He still made me want to touch myself while in the theater, so it's all good with me.

Since the switch over to digital TV in the UK and Mum and Dad get a 34 inch TV...i've noticed loads of people on TV/film with acne scars. If they can be a success so can we!

I noticed them too.

I thought it was cool.

I feel like he would've been the ugly duckling in high school who grew up to the beautiful swan.

Although I must say that I prefer Zachary Quinto.

Status: Red marks, uneven skin tone, and redness in certain areas are mainly my issues now.

Morning: Cetaphil Bar Soap

Neutrogena Visibly Even SPF 30

Nights: Cetaphil Bar Soap

Cetaphil Lotion

Retin A Micro

Other:

Was on antibiotics, but I am now taking Loestrin24 Fe

His aren;t actually that bad. You'd be surprised how the big screen can magnify imperfections in one's skin. I just took a digital picture of myself the other day and my skin looked horrible with moderate acne scarring-much worse than his. I would say his is mild.

I agree, for a guy it almost seems like they are "battle scars" or something, makes them look tough. But for girls it's not ideal. which is really sad. But at least girls can cover up with a lot of makeup to hide it and in the movies /shows they always have the most flattering lighting which makes a big difference.

Status: minor hormonal 1-2 pimples once a month, uneven complexion

My regimen:

AM:

wash with Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Facial Cleanser with Tea Tree Oil

moisturize with Aveeno Ultra Calming SPF 15 moisturizer

Benefit Hello Flawless SPF 15 pressed powder

PM:

wash with Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Facial Cleanser with Tea Tree Oil

apply 4-5 drops of Jason pure organic Jojoba Oil (only when flaky)

apply thin layer of CVS generic brand BP

apply Dan's AHA+ as nighttime moisturizer (as of 6/19/09)

Once a week: Exfoliate with Neutrogena Visibly Even facial cleanser (it has little scrubbing beads).

Misc: 3 drops of jojoba oil as overnight lipbalm, Maybelline Expert Eyes makeup remover for waterproof makeup to remove mascara

i think that only works if your a pretty boy, but if u already look tough or masculine acne scars make u look scary

he barely looks like he has scars in that pic, it is the lighting. In the movie, he deffinately had what I would call a good amount of moderate scarring

I thought I was the only one :P

as for Chris Pine - well that just proves that acne & scarring isn't the end of the world :D. Good for him.

SO many actors/actresses have scarring, if you can notice it through all the makeup, I'm sure its much worse than it looks.
