I am doing the candida diet at healingnaturallybybee.com. It's not very fun, and it's making weight loss non-existent.

Today I had:

Sauteed spinach, garlic, egg, ghee with salt

Green and red peppers steamed with cold-pressed unrefined flax (I know the family who makes it) oil

Baked zucchini and egg casserole with tomato paste and salt

mint tea and licorice tea

I want chocolate!

I had a Stouffer's Corner Bistro Chicken Alfredo Flatbread and a cup of chamomile tea.

I don't know how you people can handle these crazy no-dairy/anti-candida/no-sugar/vegan/air-only diets. I'd go crazy.

That's what I'm sayin! I can't lift for shit while on this diet. I just eat what I want.. but I do take fish oil pills (10+) and 2 vegetable filled smoothies a day.

Delhi Saag with rice chips, way to much kefir (like 24 oz), chocolatey chocolate chip raw bar, handful of amazon flakes. lol, what a crap diet. This is actually yesterday's food - I was at work for 11 hours and did not feel like cooking anything.

Well, I do it by not eating a 'crazy' diet. I eat a good diet of real food. Why don't you try that?

Banana for breakfast. Jade pearl rice with sauted onions, squash, and garlic in hoisin sauce for my mid-morning snack and lunch. Dinner will be artichoke on whole wheat, tomato and cucumber drizzled with balsamic vinegar, and black rice pudding for dessert.

We just got in a case of assorted "exotic" rices so you can guess what I'll be eating for awhile.

I agree, some diets are to "extreme" for me. I prefer to eat as well as I can handle and have the foods I enjoy on a limited basis. I don't like just cutting certain foods out, like pizza, chips/salsa, etc. I enjoy food way too much. I have found that I can eat my fav chips/salsa when I want, like once/twice a week for an afternoon snack because I make my own salsa and use all natural tortilla chips. Just have to limit the chips. Was actually even toying with the idea of buying some multi grain toritillas and making my own chips. Maybe too ambitious for me, but we will see. smile.gif
ANYWAY, sorry for my ramblings.

I wake up at 4:15 now to do P90X so it's a long day!
After I worked out I ate 2 eggs (one yolk, one white) on mutligrain toast
Snack: Fruit Smoothie (organic plain fat free yogurt, a few sliced almonds, 1/4 of an orange, 1/2 of a banana, 1 kiwi)
Lunch: 3 left over Shake N' Bake Chicken tenders from last night
Snack: Carrott/Apple juice that I juiced this morning

I am still hungry though, as you can see lunch wasn't much because I didn't have time to get something to go with my chicken and I am still devising meal plans for healthy chicken dishes and snacks. I'll be going shopping this weekend. I have a good Chicken Strawberry Salad and Greek Chicken salad I want to try. Both with yummy homemade dressing.

Chicken burrito with extra pinto beans and sour cream from Chipotle.

Also a Snickers Icecream bar and a giant peanutbutter and chcolate chip cookie.

Gimme a break, it's my last meal before I start on my training diet.

Had some girlscout cookies that were bought last night. Three samoas, one sugar-free chocolate chip, and one peanut butter creme. A Kroger-branded mini-pizza with bacon, sausage and pepperoni. And three bottles of water. Will probably have some new Hamburger Helper for supper. Current complexion: Similar to the Kroger-branded mini-pizza minus the sausage and bacon. lol.gif

you gotta work on it sugaraddiction..willpower may not just happen over night..but you take small steps moving forward and little by little its not even a matter of will power anymore...you end up enjoying the healthier lifestyle.. I know a chef who is also a natural bodybuilder..he likes to talk about all the ways you can transform your meals..turning foods you enjoy but are unhealthy into healthy foods..for example..do you like pizza?? well make a home made pizza on wholewheat crust, use cottage cheese for the cheese with sauce..add some garlic or whatever..its delicious!!!

point I'm making is you can still enjoy food..diet is the wrong word..its just about making healthy choices..rather then a fattening hamburger on a white bun..a burger made with lean ground meat or ground turkey on a whole wheat bun..instead of white rice, brown rice..its simple little changes like this..

dont envy people who eat healthy..join them..be apart of it..forums like this are great to get support and inspiration to help you achieve your goals..and in return you can inspire others..it will be one of the best decisions you ever made in your life..every area of your life will improve. nothing feels more satisfying then overcoming and proving to yourself you can do something you felt you could not do...hope this helps a bit.smile.gif

My diet's fine as is. I'm not super-strict about things, but I still manage eat relatively healthily without having to deny myself the things I enjoy.

Damn you! I'm so jealous! I ordered two boxes of Samoas at the end of January and they're still not here. I'm beginning to think that I was ripped off by a Girl Scout!

I have been trying to eat well lately but my dad bought three tubs of ice cream from a local farm, it is soo good. Oh yeah, and he bought me two 80 percent chocolate bars for v-day even though he knows i am trying to eat well....

Breakfast: Oatmeal soaked overnight with coconut oil and some honey, banana, rruit
Lunch: Tomato/red pepper soup with an egg
Snack: Smoothie with green powder, berries, and a lil kefir , carrots and hummus
Dinner: Chicken marsala and green beans
Oops: few bites of maple cream ice cream and two pieces of chocolate, snackanimals organic chocolate chip cookies...like 3 lil ones sad.gif

So too much fruit, carbs, bad food, for me today

...and a crap load of other oils i am trying (found out it is like 700 cals worth of oil)
and I'm supposed to be in the middle of a fitness contest, only three weeks left for the $1000 prize. Ahh. Prob. not winning that one.
