i just started taking doxycycline (100mg) every night.
is it safe to also take zinc?
and how much zinc do i take, what kind, etc?

i just statred this to, make sure that you wait 2 hours after eating before you take the pill even though it will cause a little stomach discomfort.

also dont take zinc 2 hours after the pill either, after that you can take as much as you want

Doxycycline (Vibramycin)
Zinc reduces the absorption of Doxycycline and reduces the effectiveness of Doxycycline. Caution. To avoid this interaction, Doxycycline should be taken two hours before or two hours after Zinc supplements.
