Hi all.. this is my first post here- I literally just registered! Ive been viewing this site regularly for some time now.

My major acne problem is the scarring.. Ive had pretty bad body acne scarring since I was in middle school.. Im now in my midtwenties. Ive had pretty bad scarring on my arms, back, legs, etc... Its really sad considering my mom is an esthetician herself.. but my problem has been from childhood due to antibiotics so my skin is totally out of whack. On top of that I do get ezcema every now and then so obviously that doesnt help.

Recently I was in my best friends wedding.. and she wanted us to wear sleeveless dressed.. now mind you I love her so much, but still she doesnt know about my problem.. In fact just my mom did.

After trying several things and assessing it, my mom thought to try this peel- the Cosmedix Deep Sea Peel.

Aside from the really really darker scars, its really lightened up most of the ones ive had. It lightened it up enough so that iwth a little concealer I could wear the sleeveless dress.

Then after the wedding i turned to my back and legs. I havent work a short skirt since middle school.. still havent yet, but the results of this peel are tellingme that one more treatment and I can finally wear the pencil skirt I bought.

The peel itself is like tiny sand particles, can sting quite a bit after.. and peels for a week or so.. .It may nt start to peel at firsst, but after a few days it will.

My back is clearing up. I cansee a difference myself.

I will tell you that I dont know how much this peel costs.. my mom gave it to me.. and usually it is done by professionals only.

Its just that using this product- after SO long Ive finally (FINALLY!!!) seen a difference in my skin.

Ive still got tto find something to lighten up the realyl dark sccars on my arm, but at least for now this is working for hte lighter ones. Its a huge relief.

Its worth a try, and honestly Im sure its pricey.. I think at $120/session. -- but dont quote me on the price because honestly I dont know how much they charge for it.

I wanted to share this with you all who have similar problems, in hopes it helps smile.gif

I'm hoping you get an email informing you of my reply. My local dermatologist is performing this treatment and I realise that it's only meant to be a short term solution. So a few years on, have the improvements completely faded?
