I still have a bruise on my right cheek. I noticed several white heads popped up around my mouth. It was probably since I was dehydrated from smoking last night.

I've been wearin mineral make up sparsely. I went out tonight and I only covered the scars. I've been using the red light too. Still have that bruise.

I forgot to mention that my derm suggested that I go on accutane since I've been battling acne for...a decade now. I'm turning 20 in 3 weeks? Right my skin is okay, moderate with lots of black heads and enlarged pores. I'm hesitant to go on accutane because it will be a more rigorous lifestyle change. Getting blood work every month and check ups.. I odn't know we'll see. I have to be on birth control for a month before I can start accutane.

I told my derm when I went back a few months ago that I have had acne for 10 plus years now and I would like to try accutane again (it worked wonders the first time, but now acne is coming back a bit). I was told "well, however bad you think it is, accutane isn't worth the risk". End of subject. Kind of bummed he didn't even try to understand. But he is my doctor and he knows more than me I suppose... But good luck if you get to go on it!

I really like Bare Minerals foundation. It will cover - you just have to use more than they do in the instructions. I love my skin when I use it, and it doesn't make me breakout more than usual. Right now I'm trying to go without it now so I can get comfortable in my bare skin again...
I also am dealing with large pores and searching for a solution. I think my oil control lotion is helping them look smaller and I don't feel like an oil slick by the end of the day when I use it. Its Cosmedicine Medi-Matte oil control lotion. love it, b/c i don't feel like i need to wear mineral veil anymore.
take care and good luck!

Haven't updated in awhile. Used the clinique foundation in jan 18th. Broke out recently on my chin and left cheek due to the foundation. It's recovering now. The Duac really works in clearing the zits. I have one under my left chin and left cheek. The RAM helps with scarring I suppose. Sometimes I use Duac in the morning and at night to clear up a zit. Still on my same routine. Cutting back on the EDM lately and just going out with no makeup. I need to find a tinted moisturizer that covers for winter now. It's cold and my skin is really dry. The everyday mineral breaks me out.
Morning
SFC Soap w/clarisonic
Neutrogena Alcohol free Toner
Duac
Olay SPF 15
maybe EDM
Night
Cetaphil w/clarisonic
Neutrogena alochol free toner
Retin-a Micro
Cetaphil Moisturizer
My skin is pretty clear except for scarring and large pores. My pores are humongous. Still trying to figure out how to diminish those pores. Will get a facial during spring break when I go home. I need to find an esthetician when I am away at school.
