Acne in the same spots, over and over again

8 posts in this topic

Does anyone know why some zits keep on coming back in the EXACT same spots as before? I've had some pimples for a few years now that ALWAYS keep on re-appearing in the same areas around my nose. They are also the same kinds, and same size.

Are my oil production pores messed up in those areas more than in others?

honestly it could be a few reasons.

A) u could be touching the areas subconcioiusly without knowing it

b) clothes could be rubbing against it or your pillow

most likely tho, your pores are just clogged as shit in them areas. u need to exfoliate.

paulas choice bha worked for me

That usually happens when you dont pop the core of the zit out.

My regimen changed (starting 5/16/09) and I am not a happy camper

AM regimen

Wash face and chest with Kaiser 5% bp wash

Moisturize with face reality skincare cranberry cream

Apply Estee Lauder Future Perfect Eye Cream

Apply make up, blush, finishing powder, MAC moisture cover to dark underyeye circles

Pop a doxycycline

PM regimen

Remove make up with desert esscence jojoba oil using cotton balls

starting evening of May 28, 2009, I wash my face with Face Reality Skincare Sensitive Skin Gel Cleanser at night time only

Apply Differin to face and chest

Wait to dry and moisturize with face reality skincare cranberry cream

Apply Estee Lauder Future Perfect Eye Cream

Pop a doxycycline

Foundation- MAC Studio Tech Foundation in NC20 or MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation in NW15, apply a MAC blush, apply MAC prep and prime finishing powder

Anyone who has a problem zit thats having a hard time healing, try this and let me know if it helped you. Mix one tablespoon of sea salt with three tablespoons of warm water, apply to a cotton ball or a paper towel. Apply to the zit for ten to fifteen minutes, and then wash it off.

Alright. I stopped touching my face or popping them, but they pop themselves... just not fully. Maybe it might be cause they don't FULLY leave me when they pop, and the remaining puss just gets inflamed again...

I'm still not too sure on what to do though.

Popping them vigorously or carelessly may mean the acne gets spread, i.e clogging the pores or spreading dirt with your fingers. As a general rule if a spot does not have a prominent head, don't squeeze it. If there is a head squeeze it gently with tissue paper or something, clean and medicate afterward.

All the roads that lead to struggles

Bring you back to where you need

Some reassurance in your own depth,

Only you can see, but let others feel

Peace in my mind i'm so happy to find

As i get on my trek with a headstart back to you.

an add on to this. if it does have a prominent yellow/ puss head, then and ONLY then

use a blemish extractor to pop it. (same thing dermatologists use) they get the core out, by isolating just around the tiny blemish. be very careful, never break the prominenet head rule, or u will end up irritating the hell out of it..

Same thing happens to me, on both of my temples.

I started using Proactiv and my right temple is 99% clear, left is... 40%
