Masturbation Restriction 1 month

Day 3.. a few new small zits (whiteheads). A couple on the side of my head in my hair (wtf!?). My skin looks a bit more oiler than normal, although it gets oilier at night anyways. So acne doesn't seem better today but nothing too major really.

Day 3

The skin is not better or worse. The usual small whiteheads on my forehead. My right arm breakout is healing. 1 more problematic zit under my nose and one on my left cheek.

Day 4

Some bad acne on my left part of my lower left jawline. And another breakout on my shoulders.

As whole: no skin improvements.

condition: face is so dry.. I hate it. new acne forming under jaw (due to picking.. I can't help it)

I have 3 red marks on side of chin bcause I picked 3 clogged pores.. they were annoying me

I see improvement but if I don't stop picking then I won't get better at all

and thanks to my beard I can't see the marks on my jaw so I ignore that part

I feel overall good


Acne is disappearing... slowly

Status : 95% CLEAR

Regime: this regime has worked for me for the past month. Diet is nothig special; just avoid diary and sugary drinks/foods.. still eating lots of junk food like fries which doesnt' seem to affect me, have some fibre in the breakfast from berries and oats. Chicken, rice, bread, tuna, peppermint and green tea, cocoa, eggs, lost of baby carrots

THE KEY: Sunlight in the morning (15 to 30 mins), sleep at least 7 hrs a day

drink water whenever I can (aimin for 2 ltrs), wash my face with water morning and night

sexual activity only once every 10 days (til my skin recovers, then keep it moderate)

SUPPLEMENTS: MSM 1000 mg 3 times a day, Zinc 50 mg once a day, Vitamin C 500 mg twice a day

Day 5

Feeling good about how my skin feels. The pores are getting smaller, my skin is becoming more hydrated. Trust me, this is no fluke. Your skin quality DOES change after you don't masturbate for a few days. The 1st and 2nd days my skin was flaking so bad.

But the cysts and papules are still there. My face is also littered with red marks.

Lol, have some of you guys dropped out?! Don't leave me doing this alone. :boohoo:

Those seeing no results - do you take a vitamin or mineral supplement?

john1234, I guess you don't? Perhaps you've a low zinc-intake or something xD. I read you expel a lot of that from playing with your willy.


Currently on Isotretinoin for the second time!

70kg / 154lbs

Month 1: 30mg (20mg/per day & 20mg/twice per day, alternating)

Regimen

Morning:

Luffa + Boots Skin Clear Ultra Treatment Wash (Salicylic & Glycolic acids) in shower

Boots Skin Clear Oil Free Mattifying Lotion (Salicylic acid & moisturising)

20mg Isotretinoin w/ Breakfast (cereal w/ milk & glass of milk) every other day

Day:

Moisturiser & Blistex Intensive Moisture SPF15 as needed

20mg Isotretinoin w/ meal (+glass of milk or high fat snack if it's a low-fat meal)

Night:

I don't think its simply a zinc deficiency. My mind is clearer and my energy levels are also up.

i'm not going to masturbate. It's okay, considering I think everyone dropped out already. :doh:

Oh well.

My skin is looking better and better. The cysts are almost flat. My skin is feeling really soft and elastic and thick. Flakes are all gone. Mood is up.

I looked over my old posts and realized that at point in time I was absolutely championing masturbation restriction becuase of the results I saw. Now I realize why. I have to stop cheating myself. This is very well probably the only reason i have acne.

PS: is there any drug or anything that can lower your libido or sex drive? I think mine is too high sometimes and is not only about controling.. crazy hormones

Day 7:

No significant differences after the one orgasm I had this week. Some 2-3 bad zits on my cheeks and back, this morning (in the begging of day 8) they are almost gone.

I have been there for 3 months or so...it did not work for me, it just made these "wet" mornings happen, and it was good to finally masturbate in the end!

You said that your skin was better in the sea air, and this might be why: there are apparently more negative ions and more ozone near the beach (cleaner air), and these are responsible for countering the effects of pollution, thereby improving your health. Improving the cleanliness of the air quality, is probably going to affect your skin, seeing as your face is exposed to it every day.

As for masturbation, even religiously I do not think masturbation itself is a sin...it probably just depends on what you are thinking about. You need some sexual release...surely!

honestly, simply given the dropout rate of the experiment, I highly doubt that most people who claim they tried this experiment (on their own) truly came through and finished it. But each to their own. We'll see.

I'm back in, I started again on Monday. And I think it does help for some people, including me. My skin was healing very quickly from old zits the first few days. But now I have a new one on my jaw but it probably didn't help that I cheated on the weekend. Also, I truly think that a high sugar intake affects parts of my skin as well, mostly through clogged pores, so I think for this experiment to work I might try it with a few weeks of eating junk food and a few weeks of eating healthy food and less sugar.
