Mine started 3 days after I popped my first pill. It is just cysts (probably at least 10 since starting) and a few pimples which go away within a day or two.....and it is still breaking out, but HOPEFULLY it will soon end.

mines sarted after day 4. im on 60mg/day. Its weird because one day my face will look like it broke out big time then the next it will look like it improved a little. So i have no idea whas going on lol.

Mine started on Day 3 with minor clogged pores. I'm on Day 23 now, and I'm getting bigger pustules and some cysts.

day 4 or 5 was when mine started. i noticed an increase in oil production on day 1.

my IB hasn't ended yet

MY IB started about day 4 and is not starting to clear up after about day 16.

Initial breakout for me started about day 4, and now I am on day 13 and it is only getting worse. The only thing that has gotten better are my blackheads. I'm getting an insane amount of whiteheads though, and it just keeps increasing. sometimes multiple are popping up within an hour. I can say at work last couple weeks I've been extremely stressed, and with the line of work I am in I will be stressed all the way through until after christmas, so I'm sure my stress has also contributed. No matter what I am going to stick through this though, I hated my face before accutane, and now that I've started it my face has gotten twice as bad, so it's really hard to deal with, but knowing that by the end my face could be clear I'm not gonna give up on it. I'll go through this shitty Initial breakout and the shitty side effects if it means getting my life back.

Quick question - did anyone else get an extreme amount of whiteheads when they first started the tane?

I guess day 4 is the magical number. Mine was 4-12....i think. i havent gotten a new cysts in 3 days

Started on around 2 weeks and still going... I am into my 2nd month and its still going and I hate it.

I'm getting 2 new cysts on Day 10 and 11 but then I've been drinking a lot of coffee lately. Plus the stress from the new school term doesn't help either. So they may or may not be related to Tane.

Did you try Osteo Bi-Flex?... It lubricates your joints and builds cartilage. I'm currently on day 84 of Sotret. As soon as my joints started bothering me, i did a little research and stumbled upon that. Within a week all the pain was gone. It guarantees the pain will be gone with 7 days. Worked...

Great Question! I am on Day 4 and my IB started yesterday on Day 3. When does it end???!!! Someone please say yours ended and when!!

I'm on Day 16 and the cysts are really coming out in full force.

I'm on day 12 and I'm not sure if I've had an IB. couple of spots have appeared recently, but nothing major.

I am patiently waiting for a breakout though. Just want to get it out of the way so I don't need to worry about it coming.

Im on day 11 and I can feel a few lumps under my skin.. Nothing has broken the skin yet but probably within the next few days..

The same thing happened to me.. Yesturday it looked like the overall appearance of my skin was looking better.. Then today it seemed like it was the same as always.. i thought I was going so I was a bit upset.. Im glad to see someone else had this happen..

Just started my second month and still breaking out, they just don't like to heal, which makes it really difficult...

Initial breakout began immediately and hasn't begun to ease up yet. Today is the first day that I can even begin to feel my skin tighten ever so slightly - otherwise up until this point it's been an oil slick like never before. If I had mild to very slight moderate acne BEFORE accutane - I'm now at the more severe end of moderate acne with countless actives (combination papules & whiteheads) all over but my cheeks are getting it the worst.. Fun, isn't it?

oh gawd im on my day 3.. and i feel an army coming. should i just leave them alone or can i put some sulfer spot treatment on it? its real early in my course of only 40mg so i think it will be ok right? no dryness
