Sodium Sulfacetamide (Klaron) Questions!

3 posts in this topic

My derm gave me a Sodium Sulfacetamide product to put on my face each night. I have never heard of it before, so have a few questions.

1. The bottle says to shake it well, and even if I do, it's still very, very runny. Is it supposed to be thicker? how do I apply it when it's like water?

2. If I put this all over my face at night and let it dry, can I use BP to spot treat on top of it?

Has anyone tried Sodium Sulfacetamide and can answer these?

Hello,

I have been using Klaron products for about a year now. It is more liquidy if it doesn't have the sulfur in it and slightly more pasty with the sulfur in it.

Some bottles have a small hole where I pour little amounts and cover my face, and when I had it with the sulfur, I used a Q tip to apply it on my face, it's annoying to apply it, but Klaron is the best thing for me now.
