I am about to try some of this, but was just wondering, is it actually called "Wright's Traditional Soap" on the packet "with coal tar fragrance" in an orange and yellow colour?

Just confirming this is the exact product. Thanks

I used it when I first tried the regimen in 2012 but my face was red raw when using that soap, it is so ridiculously harsh and it dried my skin out like crazy. Would not reccomend, even though my skin was clear at the time (it was the BP i was using though not the soap).

Got the same drying effect. Trying to counter-act with vaseline. Hard to get this skin under control. Which soap are you using now?

Are you doing the acne.org regimen or just your own thing?

I use cetaphil gentle skin cleanser - its designed to be used alongside prescription acne medications because it only removes excess dirt/oil/makeup but it still leaves your skins 'natural protective layer'. It basically feels like you havent washed your face properly when you first use it but its something you have to get over. i've been using it for months and my skin is clear, so i know it doesnt clog my pores or cause me any problems.

Soap on the other hand leaves an irritating residue on your skin - even though it feels like its rinsed 'squeaky' clean.

Somehow, I broke out on cetaphil last year. I've tried, along with dexeryl cream. The result was horrible. Immediate break out the next day. Have not touched cetaphil ever since.

I just checked out the ingredients of that dexeryl stuff and its really comedogenic, i can almost guarantee thats what broke you out - not the cetaphil.
