I'm having huge trouble with this. So far Clinique is ok. But everything now claims to be hypoallergenic a suitable for contact wearers. Well this is a lie because I have gone through Loreal's telescopic and Maybeline's mascara and I'm doubing a lot of these mascaras because they are bothering my contatact.

Clinique's High Definition Mascara not so bad but then I put two coats on today and they dried my eyes out. I get so aggrivated becasue I don't produce natural tears so I am constantly putting clerz eye drops in my eyes to make them feel better. Sometimes it's the heat, or the wind, or the sun, or taking a shower in them, then dries them out. But I get real frusterated at all these companies claiming they are suitable for contacts, then not. Not only that, I want something smudge-proof, lengthening, and thickens as well. If anyone was to make such a mascara that doesn't mess up my forcus daily contacts, could you please send it my way?

Thanks! smile.gif

OMG I love love love Maybelline Define-A-Lash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't clump and it makes my lashes look awesome. I do curl them before using mascara.

I am a makeup snob, use high quality stuff, but this is the only mascara I will use even if it is Maybelline. I am like you, since Accutane do not produce as many tears and use a lot of drops, wear contacts, dry eyes, etc. This stuff is awesome.

Isn't Maybeline Define a Lash in a Pink Tube? I think it is. And I don't trust anything by Maybeline. I appreciate your input, but I really dont' like their product line.

I use the one in a green tube.

Why don't you trust it? I just bought a new one today!

The reason I ask is because I use very high quality makeup, from Arbonne, which is plant-based and has nothing harmful in it. I take that very seriously, but I hate every mascara I have ever tried except Define A Lash.

I've Arbonne is really good. I can try and give it a go. Waterproof? or Regular? And if it doesn't work can't I take it back and return it?

I *love* Arbonne makeup, it's the best stuff I have ever used. But I wasn't a huge fan of their mascara. If you do buy Arbonne's you can return it within 45 days.

The Maybelline I have is regular but I did buy waterproof for my beach week coming up. Haven't tried the w-proof yet.

If you find a better quality mascara you love, PM me!

Well I looked it up on their website and it is different. I love lengthening. I will give it a go. Usually drugstores and Wal-Mart return them even if they are used. So I hope I like this, it's different then the other one I bought. I usually choose waterproof b/c of the smudging. Bet the one in the pink tube (great lash) i bought waterproof and it smudged. So I will try this waterproof green one and see. Thanks for letting me know.!

Wearing contacts and suffering from allergies, a lot of mascaras make my eyes sting after a couple hours. I've always had the best luck with Almay mascaras. My favorite is the one coat nourishing mascara thickening. They also have a waterproof one

I've worn contacts for years and I also like Almay the best. I'd have to say that Loreal has an amazing mascara but it irritates the hell outta my eyes. I've also noticed that my contacts get irritated when I wear waterproof.
I hope this helps u out!!
