After a horrid trial of Retin A my skin is so chemically sensitive now it's ridiculous. So that kind of ruled out using MaMa lotion or Green Cream. I found this to be an easy, gentle, and cheap alternative. Granted you have to use it a little more often but to me it's worth it not to go through the chemical processing again.
I have a lot of other tips on things you can do to get better results but you shouldn't do too much too fast, otherwise your skin will look handled like hell and you'd need a break from all products.
I hope it works out for you!

What are some of your of your other tips? I love tips! I'm going to try this. I love remedies that can be found in your kitchen!

Yes they are talking about a homemade yogurt mask. I read about it on makeupgallery.com one girls regimen went like this: two serving spoon sized scoops of non-fat yogurt [ low fat might moisturizer better. i'd be afraid to try fullfat ]
three teaspoon squirts of honey
a long squeeze of lemon [ about 4 seconds tops ]
MIX TOGETHER. remember to just refridgerate after use! yogurt will be fresh for about a week. maybe 5 days. maybe more. but the other ingredients might slow so i'm not sure.

Wash face as normal first
Apply an exfoliating scrub of honey and baking soda and use gently for 1-2 minutes
Rinse of scrub and wipe excess water off face
Dip 3 fingers into a tub of yogurt (about 1 tablespoon) and apply to face
Leave on yogurt for 45 mins or until dry
Rinse yogurt off with warm water and bare hands
Dry face and do the rest of your routine as normal
The real miracle worker is the manual exfoliation before the chemical exfoliation in the mask. This may be too much for some but for those who have more dead skin than they know what to do with, this is a wonderful thing.

You leave it on for 45 mins? I left mine on for about 15 mins. Do you think it's better to leave it on longer?
Btw, I LOVE the way my skin looks today! It looks smoother and more toned and it glows a little.

Back to the topic. I tried the yogurt mask last night, didnt notice much of a difference, but I think i'm going to try Eryka's regimen since I've also been using baking soda. It'll save me a process anyways.

That sounds like a plan!
I love this mask... I had to wear less makeup today. It isn't a miracle or anything, but it does help. I may put in some avocado tonight.

I'm using the Astro Plain Yogourt. It has no sugar just milk ingredients and active cultures.
I read somewhere that Goat's milk yogourt is even better or using milk powder.

Hi onlyme...yeah Im from ND....oh yeah Im just lovin this weather, this morning was -35 outside without the windshield
Anywho...Im not sure this does too much for my skin either...I dont feel that it moisturizes at all...if its supposed to?, the peeling possibly might be from the lactic acid which is an AHA but I cant imagine that it would be strong enough to make your skin peel. I guess Im giving this a 2 out of 5 rating

Just wanted to mention...It's actually the "wind chill factor" not the "windshield factor" but that's a common mistake. *grammar ninja slinks away*
