I joined here awhile ago, and my acne was ATROCIOUS. I had nasty dark marks and whiteheads all over my cheeks and chin. I came here, tried NuCelle (skeptical at first) but kept at it..now, five and a half months later, my skin is almost clear.

BEFORE (06-11-2007) AFTER (12-08-2007)

I started with NuCelle Mandelic Acid serum 10% for five months, and then recently upgraded to 15%. I was gonna go on accutane, but now I'm glad that I didn't!!! Now I'm putting it on my back and it has already worked wonders!

WOW....your skin looks amazing. Im glad you found something that works for you. I thought about trying Nucelle before, I think thats mandelic acid? Its a good thing you stuck with it though

Those are insane results using very minimal products. People with an hour long regime should take note. Only need a cleanser and one medication.

1. Yes, there was some minimal peeling on my face, usually around the chin area and the forehead. It varies from person to person. But you know where the most peeling occurs? On the hands and fingers from where you apply the medication. That's the only drawback..it really causes a lot of peeling on the fingers and hands, and not so much on the face (at least my face).

2. It didn't sting me at all, actually, it's very gentle and once you put it on, it disappears leaving no gunky residue. It doesn't even make your face shiny at all. You just have to remember to wait 30 minutes before you put on sunscreen, to give it a chance to absorb in the pores.

3. I didn't use any spot treatment, just the NuCelle. I have to admit, after like two weeks I was gonna give up because I hadn't seen that much improvement. But I stuck with it, and five months later, my skin is much much better. It's a process and I am genuinely shocked at how much better my skin is (after looking at pictures I took five and half months ago). I don't even have to wear makeup anymore. It's great. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

@ InRepair: I am still in the process of using NuCelle to fade my marks, but YES it does work for marks (in my case, dark marks). My marks used to be really black and you could spot them a mile away, now they are faded and you have to be up close to see them. I bet after another five months or so they'll be almost gone. As I mentioned earlier, I'm using it on my back and WOW already I see improvement after like three weeks. NuCelle is amazing, and this is coming from someone who has been on stronger medications and has tried nearly everything.

Glad to hear you have had such good luck with mandelic acid! Your results are amazing! I've had good results from mandelic as well. I used NuCelle for awhile, and also Vivant's 15% mandelic and one that is from my esthetician's own product line. It ended up being a little too drying for me, but I still use it to spot treat and I have also found out it is great for folliculitis (which I got on my chest and back). It really is multifunctional (antibacterial, antifungal, exfoliative) and can be used on all different skin tones. Great stuff! Its good to see others getting results from mandelic!!!!

My acne is moderate and from your pictures i think my acne is a lot lighter than your acne used to be so i think i should give this product a try

I would only use the NuCelle and not risk having the BP react with it and cause further breakouts. But that's just what I would do, since I stopped using all other medicines on my face and only used the NuCelle.

1) I only used the NuCelle. Believe it or not, that and a good, gentle cleanser and some lotion with sunscreen in it is all you need. I didn't buy the entire product line of NuCelle..just the Mandelic Acid serum 10% at first, and now the 15%. It's important to work up to the 15% and not put it on your face at the jump off, cause it might be too strong to start out with. You COULD buy the NuCelle brand cleanser, lotions and masks but I got amazing results without them.

2) I did not get any cysts..in fact, it cleared away all the surface acne.

3) I did not use any of the other products. All I used was Cetaphil facial cleanser for normal to oily skin (the one with the pump which is a different consistency than the one with the screw cap), NuCelle Mandelic Acid serum, and Dove's facial moisturizer with SPF 15. I am completely shocked that all I needed was one gentle medication, but don't let its gentleness fool ya, MANDELIC ACID KICKS ACNE'S ASS!

Congratulations! You look great! I've only been using the Nucelle 10% Mandelic for a few weeks now, only using it once every other day, but now I'm considering using it every day and changing my regimen. I already do notice a difference in my skin since I've been using it, but maybe it's really the only thing I need, and i can throw out the rest.
