NuCelle CHANGED MY LIFE!

87 posts in this topic

I joined here awhile ago, and my acne was ATROCIOUS. I had nasty dark marks and whiteheads all over my cheeks and chin. I came here, tried NuCelle (skeptical at first) but kept at it..now, five and a half months later, my skin is almost clear.

BEFORE (06-11-2007) AFTER (12-08-2007)

I started with NuCelle Mandelic Acid serum 10% for five months, and then recently upgraded to 15%. I was gonna go on accutane, but now I'm glad that I didn't!!! Now I'm putting it on my back and it has already worked wonders!

Those are insane results using very minimal products. People with an hour long regime should take note. Only need a cleanser and one medication.

Hey Vivi,

Congrats on your success with Nucelle.

I have a few questions for you:

1) Do you have any peeling while on this regimen?

2) Does it sting when you put it on?

3) Do you use anything as a spot treatment?

Thanks in advance!

Glad to hear you have had such good luck with mandelic acid! Your results are amazing! I've had good results from mandelic as well. I used NuCelle for awhile, and also Vivant's 15% mandelic and one that is from my esthetician's own product line. It ended up being a little too drying for me, but I still use it to spot treat and I have also found out it is great for folliculitis (which I got on my chest and back). It really is multifunctional (antibacterial, antifungal, exfoliative) and can be used on all different skin tones. Great stuff! Its good to see others getting results from mandelic!!!!

A.M.

-Face Reality Sensitive Skin Cleansing Gel

-Finacea

-MD Formulations AOX Hydrating Gel and/or MD Formulations AOX Lotion (on drier areas)

-Mix a few drops of Niacinamide Gel with Face Reality's SPF 30 for Acne Prone Skin

P.M.

-Face Reality Silica scrub

-Derm A Gel 2 out of 3 nights, PTR Unwrinkle Peel Pads every 3rd night

-Mix Face Reality Hydrating Emulsion with Metazine Niacinamide Gel

-Face Reality's 2.8% BPO (chin only).

*Spot treat any inflamed lesions with Aczone

*Spot treat clogged pores with 8% mandelic

*Diet: Vitamin C and zinc supplements, avoid dairy, avoid iodine, mimimize sugar and salt, avoid peanuts

I also get facials at Face Reality Acne and Skin Care Clinic every 4-6 wks.

Congratulations on your great improvement!

So, if I was using the DKR, would I have to stop using the BP and just switch to Nucelle?

WOW im so happy for you :D

Your skin looks perfect to me!!!

I have some questions though:

1)Did you use anything else during the 5 months?

2)Did you ever get any cysts?

3)If you did use any other product during the 5 months, what were they?

My acne is moderate and from your pictures i think my acne is a lot lighter than your acne used to be so i think i should give this product a try :)

You brought me hope, thanks for sharing!

Congratulations on your great improvement!

So, if I was using the DKR, would I have to stop using the BP and just switch to Nucelle?

I would only use the NuCelle and not risk having the BP react with it and cause further breakouts. But that's just what I would do, since I stopped using all other medicines on my face and only used the NuCelle.

CONGRATS

Thanks!

1) I only used the NuCelle. Believe it or not, that and a good, gentle cleanser and some lotion with sunscreen in it is all you need. I didn't buy the entire product line of NuCelle..just the Mandelic Acid serum 10% at first, and now the 15%. It's important to work up to the 15% and not put it on your face at the jump off, cause it might be too strong to start out with. You COULD buy the NuCelle brand cleanser, lotions and masks but I got amazing results without them.

2) I did not get any cysts..in fact, it cleared away all the surface acne.

3) I did not use any of the other products. All I used was Cetaphil facial cleanser for normal to oily skin (the one with the pump which is a different consistency than the one with the screw cap), NuCelle Mandelic Acid serum, and Dove's facial moisturizer with SPF 15. I am completely shocked that all I needed was one gentle medication, but don't let its gentleness fool ya, MANDELIC ACID KICKS ACNE'S ASS!

CONGRATULATIONS Vivi! That is such a great improvement! Im also glad your skin cleared up right before Christmas! That must be a great Christmas present! :)

Keep it up!

Gee, thanks! It is one of the best gifts I've ever received.

Hi, my names JoontheBaboon and my acnes not severe.

However, I have a very sensitive skin and I scar easily from acne due to Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema) and facial sweating.

My skin is either really dry, or really oily/sweaty. And I seem to have dark pigmentation around the creases of my lips (Click here for pic).

I recently bought the starter kit and been using it for almost a week. It works well on my acne overall but I think the pigmentation around my lips is starting to burn/itch and show some reddening.

Is it the benzoyl peroxide thas causing this? I thought if I put them on my pigmentation, it'll help clear them up because it "oxygenates" your skin but i think it's getting worst/darker (Click here for pic)

I should do the regime once in da morning and once before I go to sleep right every day for like the rest of my life right?

And is the mandelic acid or the neucelle acid work for the hyperpigmentation around my lips?

Congratulations! You look great! I've only been using the Nucelle 10% Mandelic for a few weeks now, only using it once every other day, but now I'm considering using it every day and changing my regimen. I already do notice a difference in my skin since I've been using it, but maybe it's really the only thing I need, and i can throw out the rest.

I might give this a try. =]

It's seem quite promising.

BP is doing a good job at keeping my acne at bay at the moment.

I only get about 1-2 active spots at one time.

But BP is fairly irritating towards my skin, and I flake alot.

Even after using the regime for about 1 year now.

So I might switch over to NuCelle and see how it goes.

You used this when you had spots and it managed to prevent new spots from forming?

New spots do not form, in fact, the opposite is happening. My spots are fading.
