It's not green tea and honey suckle, i don't think.

I think it's a combination of a LOT more herbs that supposedly control hormones, clear "heat", and expel toxins.

I don't think there's supposed to be any green tea in it.

Some of my friends swear that Chinese Herbal medicine stops acne in its tracks, but I do not know how effective it is on cystic acne.

What am I doing in this section, anyways?!

Take care of your skin, ya'll!

I just purchased the "Pimple Solution Tea" from my local Asian food store and I can tell you from the box that it contains green tea leaves as well as herbal ingredients such as root of indigowoad, honeysuckle flower and weeping forsythia. I can't tell you if it is effective at treating acne yet though, as I just bought it, but I figure it's worth a shot.

I will post a further reply at a later date to report on how well it works. Wish me luck! :)

I go to chinatown to get herbal teas (anyone who says its not tea its herbs is doesnt understand that its tea WITH herbs)

I do drink a clear skin tea. I think since i started drinking green tea (which has antiandrogen properties plus antioxidents) and the "skin" tea, which i forget what its called, my skin got healthier looking. I don't think it nec cleared my skin but I think it helps to maintain skin.

Its worth trying. Teas/herbs are good for you anyways.

Pimple tea is great depending on the type of acne you have because different herbs do different things. There are multiple types of heat a person can have and the prolonged heat in your body can also cause other symptoms that later, effect and make your acne worse. Such for me, honeysuckly did not help to calm my heat (though it took me a while to figure it out) because mine was too strong and I'd had it for too long. It caused me consipation which in turn made my acne worse. I have stomach heat, which either comes from genetics, a bad digestive track or years of abusive eating and drinking such as eating a popsicle after having hot soup. First, figure out what type of heat you have, then choose the correct herb for you.
