Is taking zinc always going to make me nauseous and gassy?

I started taking 30mg of Zinc Picolinate (it also has 2mg of copper) and I always end up feeling sick after taking it. I get a stomach ache and have gasiness. I've tried taking it with a meal, on a full stomach, on an empty stomach and nothing seems to help.

Will it always be like this or will my body build up resistance?
