hi. my name is irene, i am 22 y/o from the philippines and , i've been suffering from acne since gradeschool, already tried everything under the sun. I got this information from youtube that acne.org really works. But they aren't shipping to the philippines so i tried these alternatives:

1. Cetaphil gentle cleanser (mercury drug)

2. BP Benzac AC 2.5% (bought @sulit.com)

3. Cetaphil moisturizing cream (mercury drug)

i am on my second day and luckily there were no break outs, but  what i can notice is, my face turned sooooo OILY!!! shining shimmering splendid. hmp! is it because of the moisturizer and or because of our HOT climate? should i discontinue the moisturizer?

and because i had so many acne on the past years, i also got lots of scars and hyper pigmentation, but again there is no available jojoba oil and AHA in the philippines,,

another, a non comedogenic make up?

somebody please HELP ME? sad.png

Jojoba oil is available at Healthy Options; I am not sure by try to use calamansi or lemon for hyperpigmentation but be careful and use a sunblock if you are going to do this.

AM/PM Skin Care Routine

Facial Wash - Raw and Organic Honey or Andalou Naturals Clarifying Facial Wash

Toner - Witch Hazel extract or Andalou Naturals Clarifying Toner

Moisturizer - Sunflower Oil

Twice a week Aztec Bentonite Clay Mask

Supplements:

Zinc Gluconate or Chelated Zinc (Solgar) - 22/25 mg twice a day

Chromium Polynicotinate GTF - 200mcg - twice a day - helps with weight loss and insulin sensitivity

Just to share: I tried to whole VMV Id line religiously for 6 years

Complete Id line

VMV Armada

Essence

_-the works/complete package--

did not solve my acne problem, haha spent thousands :P but i still use VMV sport 70 since I do running 5x a week and when its hot, it is really necessary --expensive but works for me

I am now a fan of natural skin care but also weary of some of the chemicals use in natural skin care brands

Hi! I hope you reply to this message. I was wondering is Benzac available locally? I can't deal with the hassle of having to order online like you did.

Sabi nung iba, you can find Benzac sa Mercury.

For those asking for a good moisturizer, I recommend Celeteque  DermoScience Sun Care Matte Moisturizer. It has SPF 30 & Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB Protection. it's oil-free, non-comedogenic and hypo-allergenic. :) As far as I know, it does not contain any ingredients that was mentioned in this site that may cause further irritations. Furthermore, it's manufactured by Innovitelle, Inc. a subsidiary of Unilab.

Benzac is available in drugstores locally, but they only carry 5% and 10% which is way too harsh. The 2.5% Benzac I got was purchased online.

- BENZOYL PEROXIDE : 1 pump of The Acne.org 2.5%

Evening Routine:
- CLEANSER: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser/Acne.org Cleanser
- BENZOYL PEROXIDE : 1 pump of The Acne.org 2.5%
- MOISTURIZER: Cetaphil Moilturizing Cream + Acne.org AHA + 5-6 drops of Acne.org Jojoba Oil

Extras:
- Concealer: MAC Studio Finish Concealer in C25 (for redness)
- Pressed Powder: MAC Select Sheer in NC20 (for mattefying)
- Foundation: Revlon Colorstay for Oily/Combination Skin in Buff (for even skin tone)

Simula niyo munang linisin an inyong mga dieta.

St Ives, cetaphil, CeraVe, Eucerin, Simple, at marami pang iba!

Well, to be honest i didnt really grow up in the philippines. I was born and raised abroad.

IMO, cleaning up your diet is not enough. You also need to put some nutrients in your body. Vitamin a, d , c , e , zinc, copper, omega 3, and a lot more. For me, i drink green smoothies (vegtable smoothies) everyday and take vitamin c and omega 3 supplements and drink almond milk. I avoid processed foods as well.

Now stress. Stress is really important. Stress can give you a massive break out. I know it's hard cause we have acne. If you are religous, religion will help you alleviate stress. Also meditation and excercising. Sleeping for 8 hours everynight.

As for the BP. If your a filipino then your pimples must have given you dark marks that takes months to get rid off. BP prolongs that soo much that others dont think it is worth it.
Well, now your skin is dependent on BP. You will most likely break out when you stop using it. Look for a stabilized oxygen topical. These are safer. I'd recommend garden of wisdom's oxygen gel. Just search that in google and you'd find it.

Other than BP, you need to get rid of the other harsh topicals. Look at your moisturizers ingredients, your toner's , sunscreen's , etc.

As for genetics. We cant really do anything about that. Also, if you are a teenager then you have might be able to grow out of acne when your 20 to 23.

That's all i can advise to get rid of acne. I had moderate-severe acne before. Now, it is mild. My problem now is the dark marks it caused and some pitted scars as well. I have soooo many dark marks, it makes me look like i still have moderate-severe acne.

Hey guys!
Just want to ask, does anyone here using neutrogena products? Thinking of using those!
Anyway, what benzoyl peroxide do you use? I used to use panoxyl but they discontinued it already. I used benzac for a while, but it broke me out so i dont want to try it out again.

This is my regimen before... And it made my skin clear!
- acne aid bar
- eskinol cucumber (not sure, basta eskinol haha)
- garnier light cream w spf
- at night, i use panoxyl on my pimples

But when they discontinued panoxyl...
I tried so many products for my pimples, like that benzac cream, and as what ive said it didnt work out!

Right now, im have acne again, and i dont know what to use. Ive been using many products on my face already, the problem is though, i do not stick to it. I just use it for like a month or two, then if i dont see that much change, then i switch. Im not that patient. Lol

Anyway, i shouldve just stick with my regimen before that had helped my skin to get clear, even without panoxyl. Oh well
