Today i had a lot of problems with my makeup so i had to keep cleansing my face over and over again. As a result, it is very irritated. One side of my face looks really red. It looks like a big bruise or something because i over washed my face real hard.

Anyone can recoomend what to use? is aloe vera gel the best option? Or should i use some honey? Now i can't go out because of this.

vaseline. It is actually not pore clogging and it great for overwashing irritation.

It's better than aloe vera gel? I never tried vaseline on my face before. Would it calm the irritated redness in probably 3-4 days? I have a big spot on my face that looks like acne and it is huge. It's like the size of a quarter that is super red.

Just leave it for a few days and it will go away...doing anything else or putting anything else is going to make it worse. eusa_naughty.gif
Stopped Accutane due to sudden onset of intense flushing.

I think you've torn the skin in that area. You might want to try Neosporin or Polysporin (depending on your country of origin) to heal and prevent infection.

Aloe vera is great, but on damaged skin like you described, it will sting and make it even more irritated. Once the skin has healed somewhat, both aloe vera and emu oil will speed the healing process.

Hi there. My saving grace for the same problem has been Zincofax 40% cream. Yes this is the same cream that gets applied to a babys bottom for diaper rash but it has worked wonders for me. I only apply it at night time and yes I sleep alone. lol. But make sure when you go to bed to place a towel on your pillow so that the cream doesnt get on your pillow case. Its a thicker consistency but trust me, it works.

Daily Regimen
AM
Wash with Cetaphil Cleanser for Sensitive Skin
Witchhazel Toner
Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream
Followed by Jane Iredale Cosmetics

PM
Wash with Cetaphil Cleanser for Sensitive Skin
Witchhazel Toner
Apply Zincofax 40% Cream to any red marks
If no active acne or red marks then I apply the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream.

I am starting my 6th week of Accutane. Was on 2 - 40 mg once a day but dosage was reduced to only 1 40mg a day.
