Day 40:

Day 40 already!... doesnt seem like ive been on it for that long I guess time goes by faster than though. Anyways... today's a bad day for me, after a week and a half of great skin yesterday I got a big cyst looking thing on the side of my lips! YES... ON THE FUCKING SIDE OF MY LIPS- right where the top and bottom one join... its fucking embarrassing lol. All this to say, Ive decided not to go to my first block in the morning... screw it, all my clear skined friends'll be looking at it and pointing it out so fuck it. Man, cant wait for the summer to start and for me to hopefully get on accutane, Im tired of all this up and down mood, feeling on top of the world one day and at the very bottom the next, I just hope that in about 45 mins, the one thats between my lips will at least calm down and look less red cuz ive been picking at it all morning. Anyways.... see ya in a couple of days!

I remember last year when my friends made fun of me since I had a large pimple on my nose, laughing and they told me it was huge.

I just took my first pill of accutane yesterday in the afternoon, sucks since summer is gonna start and can't go outside because of accutane. Good luck man.

Hey CB07, thanks for the support and good luck to you too, just like you im planning to go on accutane this summer aswell, keeping my fingers crossed that it I'll be going back to school next year with a new face and that my Initial Breakout would be so dreadful. Good Luck with Accutane.

Day 42:

Nothing much new to report just that the big ass pimple that was in between my lis is disappearing but its looking like I have a rash but way easy to deal with. My sin has progressively been looking better, the two last days of the week, I hought were gonna be hell since of my ad lip pimple but for ome reason I had a great timewith ppl complementing my skin... I guess the rest of my face got better but Iwas too busy paying attention to the big onewhich I thught everyone would notice... funny how things turn out to be! Anyway... until acouple of dys and best of luck to anyone on any acne regimen!

Day: Whichever I dont even care anymore.

So the other day I went to my GP and she said she saw improvement but I quickly asked her if I could try getting accutane... she said though i barely have any acitve zits anymore that because my acne spreads to my back, shoulders and chest tht I could still be a strong candidate for accutane. So sure enough, I left the place feeling anxious to start yet a bit scared. Yesterday, when I came back from school my mom told me that I had a derm appointment Wednesday at 2 pm which surprised me because from what I read in other foums... it usually takes a couple of weeks but nonetheless I was happy. I had to re-schedule my appointment though because of school so instead of wednesday at 2 ill be going friday at 10 which is somewhat more convenient I guess. Funny how most ppl that take antibiotics usually just end up taking accutane... but w.e.. Im happy im finally (probably) getting the Mighty Tane! muahahahaha.

Day: Almost 2 months - lost track

Alrighty peeps, theres good news and bad news. The good news is... I barely have any zits left, maybe 1 active one whic is small and going way down, my blemishes are disappearing and my skin is actually looking great... on my face anyways. Unfortunately, Im going to my derm tomorrow for a look up and I was planning to ask for accutane and because my skin is looking a lot better than it did, Im afraid he wont let me take accutane. ( yeah i know, thats the bad news, mihgtg be good news to most ppl). Im very grateful my skin is looking the best it has in maybe 6 months but still... I know antibiotics is a temporary solution to a persistent problem, in my case anyways.

Anyways, ill check up again tomorrow, let yu all know how my derm appt. went and hopefully il be able to go on accutane over the summer.

So its been 50 days, decided to count again for fun or something... I dont know. Anyways, I just came back from my derm appt. and he said, " Absolutely not, theres no reason to put a healthy young man on accutane and even if I wanted too, ur acne does not qualify. I know a congress man's son who suicide because of this drug and If anything happens to you while on it, I could lose my license". Blah blah blah! womp womp womp... FUCK!

-So now im stuck with minocycline for 4 months, twice/day and he said not too eat an hour before taking it and 2 hours after taking it. Eventhough I've seen good results with antibiotics its just a temporary solutions... im gonna have to keep going to this fucking guy until my puberty ends and that could take a while... Fuck, im pretty pissed.

Anyways, best of luck to all of you guys suffering with cne and keep ur chin up!

ok, just beware, i'm sure people have said this but i was on mino for about a year and it kept me PERFECTLY clear and pretty much poreless. the second i stopped it, it took a couple months, but my acne came back way worse--i've NEVER had cheek zits or cystic acne, and now i have both, times fifty. all over my face. it's disgusting. i'm on erythromycin right now to try to combat it uggggh! just warning you. i have no effing clue how to fix what mino did to me--just be on it FOREVER is what i can say
