How long does it take for red marks to fade naturally?

I am going to try it, but my skin is SO sensitive, I'm sure it will aggravate my face just like everything else.
How long should it take for scarring to just go away on its own? Sometimes I think it may be better for my skin to not put on all these acids and creams....

I am a pretty active, healthy person but some seem like they are taking forever to shift.
I think I read somewhere on here that average is probably 3-6 months at best or, if they last that bit longer, it could be 1-1/2 - 2 years.
I haven't tried anything religiously for my face either. I think it would be better to just leave it alone and let them heal naturally, although I am interested in using pure natural aloe vera beacuse it seems to do wonders for alot of people and helps speed up the healing process for blemishes/scars without aggrivating people's skin.
How old are your red marks/scars by the way? What colour are they? Dark red, purple, pinkish?

If some linger and they get to you maybe you should have a look at some of the milder methods of red mark fading on this site like apple cider vinegar, baking soda, egg white mask and aloe vera before trying harsher things like AHA peels, etc.
Good luck.

Mine are fading and it's been about 9 months since my acne started to go away. But whenever I get a pimple occasionally. I have to moisturize my face a lot to make sure the dry skin doesn't cause breaking of capillaries and etc on the skin layer which causes red marks.

Zinc seems promising as it can help the body repair itself. Many people have had results using Sudocrem which is a zinc oxide cream so taking it internally should help even more.

You might want to check how much zinc is in Centrum, and if it's more than a little bit, make sure you just buy like 15mgs, and not 50mg, so you don't excede a healthy limit. My bottle of 50mg zinc was about 5 bux at wal-mart.
