indulging on bad food

yea so i was at vegas and ate at buffets 2 nights, on stuff that i know would break my out like cakes and ice cream cuz i didnt give a crap. and also i went to wing stop, and ate like 50 buffalo wings, cant be good also. so anyway, was wondering is there anyway to alleviate possible outbreaks. normally when i indulge myself on these things i take a lot of aloe vera juice and fiber stuff, hoping to wash out and digest most things. any other ideas or feedbacks? thx


it's what you make of it. if you think acne is shitty, it will be shitty for you. if you think acne a blessing in disguise that will change your outlook, personalities, and habits for the better, then it will be.

some personal pointers:

-the only thing that makes ME (not you perhaps) is chocolate, milk, soy milk, yogurt, and ice cream.

-eat healthy and be happy. a good diet takes months, if not years, to develop. IT DOESN'T HAPPEN OVERNIGHT. so keep at it and it'll pay off in the long run.

-a bad attitude makes it that much worse for you. you can't change acne overnight, so might as well enjoy it as much as you can. (it's a twisted, positive way of thinking, but hey it's better than your negative thoughts.)

-jojoba oil whenever i feel like it

-st. ives apricot scrub 1x/week and tea tree oil cleanser 3x/week

that's it!

status: clear, with some scars that won't budge, overall i'm content. i'm 21 and i pretty much have outgrown it.

ive found that purging my system works,

just skip dinner or something the next day, and you feel so much better in the morning

Drink about 8 cups of green tea after you indulge...has always helped prevent me from breaking out after i eat like KFC then a block of chocolate lol

It works wonders...oh and drink heaps of water too :)

Fasting (skipping meals) after you indulge might help.

You could also try lots of intense exercise before and after you indulge in unhealthy foods.

The best thing though is to simply not indulge at all. I find that when I am eating all natural foods that are right for my metabolic type, I have no cravings for unhealthy foods so I simply have no urge to indulge. This leaves me satisfied, healthy and with clear skin.

hello!

i think indulging once in a while is not bad when u have a good diet and healthy life otherwise.but not over-doing it is the key.

even when u've not had junk or rich food for a mnth,u should not eat loads of eat at once.moderation is needed.

water helps.

and i guess aloe juice,cucumber juice and green tea should help too!(going by logic!)

Itchy red raised skin - dermatitis??

huge pores

indented scar

oils used for cooking

inflamed whiteheads & clogged pores

my balanced diet chart and skincare routine(medications taken & products used now)

I think fasting for a few hours the next day helps... And drinking lemon water (I use 1/4 of a lemon, but if you want, do the whole lemon, or 1/2 lemon) throughout the day. Keep your body alkaline and detox... ;)

Also, GREEN SMOOTHIES! freakin amazing.

And of course,... lots of water.
