Looking for a good dermatologist in the downtown toronto area... Any advice would be appreciated

this is actually the best way to find a derm in Ontario....

just remember that ANY derm needs a referral..... no one will see you without one!

check off specialist and pick dermotology..... you can even look in a certain area!

actually you really don't have to have a referral to the Toronto Acne Clinic because it is a clinic so you can self-refer and then the doctor will choose whether to take you as a patient (9 /10 they do) its probably the best one as i researdched and theres no wait so you can see them immediately. $10 per visit tho as OHIP does not entirely cover it being sort of independent.

I would only see a dermatologist for acne problems. I went to the Toronto Acne Clinic not realizing that they have no training in skin problems, and ultimately found out that the fee they charge is actually illegal as OHIP does cover these services. That is why there is no charge at all to see a trained professional dermatologist who provides much better care anyways. I found a great derm, and he has helped me and my sister a ton, and at no cost!
