Went to a new derm

HI All,
I've been on Diane 35 for 6 months now and my acne is much better BUT I'm still breaking out. So I decided to go to The Radiant Skin Care Clinc. It's located at 333 Wilson Ave and the Dr's name is Dr. Herman. There is 2 parts to the visit, u first visit an esthetian(I know that not how u spell it) and she talks to u about ur skin. She looked at me today and she was like, sweety no offense but u don't have a problem, u have a few pimples but we can fix it. I was like REALLY!! We went through my daily routines and she suggested fixing a few things. Then I went to visit Dr. Herman. Right off the bat, we talked about how my acne began flaring up just recently. He was so nice, he said that I didn't have a problem just a minor glinch and he would help me fix things. He said that the pill I've been on will never give me clear skin, so he prescribed Bactim regular. Has anyone ever used it? Do u breakout before u get better? He said I won't break out more, just my usual amount. But honestly, I've been to a few derms, just read any of my previous posts and I've left them all. The people in this clinc are so nice and he really seemed to care. He even gave me a few free samples of creams. WHO DOES THAT? I'll let u know how it goes in the weeks to come but if anyone has also visited his office please share. Also anyone who can answer the above questions about Bactim please post or email me

I have a question about Microdermabrasion

Hi all,

My acne seems to be improving!!! I'm still breaking out but not as much as I used to. Anyways, I have scars on my cheeks and 1 side of my chin. They are between 1-3 months old. My dr recommended microdermabrasion b.c she says my scars are too dark or severe. HERE'S MY QUESTION: when doing this procedures is it ok to still have active acne? Even though I've cleared and improved I still get the occassional pimple. Will this procedure cause me to breakout more? Any info would be so appreciated. I'm finally getting clearer skin and there's no way I'm going to try something that can give me more breakouts.

I came across this website today and I wanted to share it with u. I'm thinking about going (I have nothing to lose) It doesn't just deal with acne, it's cosmetic as well. It does lazer surgury, injections etc. I want to know if anyone has heard or gone to it. Any input would be appreciated.

www.clearadultskin.com It's like a 4 piece system. It costs over $100 Cdn and she the dermatologist has her practice in Yorkville. I was just wondering if any tried it, or heard of it. I might want to try it out, but a) it's costly and b) I would rather hear more feedback on it. I'd appreciated any sort of feedback
