Hey guys.
Just got my accutane today!! OMFG YUSS!!!!! Soooo happy. Anyways, went to the chemist, and got myself some -Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser -Blistex moisturizing lip ointment -QV Lip Balm (both these lip products have SPF, probably will replace with chopsaver though) -Visine advanced eye drops - Clears and relieves red and dry eyes. And just on the internet now, I am getting my moisturizers. I have chosen -QV Moisturizing Day Cream w SPF 30 and I am choosing between The Cetaphil moisturizers for night. Either the QUOTE Cetaphil Moisturiser Intensive Cream with Shea Butter 85g OR QUOTE Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion 250ml OR QUOTE Cetaphil Moisturising Cream Which is best? Please post your comments! |

Hey...I'm on day 3! So you're only a few days behind me, It's sooo exciting!
I would recommend CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion (you can get it behind the counter at ANY pharmacy at like a Target or Walmart) it's about $13.00, it's VERYYY non-greesy, perfect amout of moisture, light-weight, perfect! I've heard a lot of people go with CerVe over Cetaphil on acne.org. Maybe consider that before you buy? Or keep that in mind incase you don't like Cetaphil for your next purchase? Just thought I'd throw that out there!! BEST OF LUCK and CONGRATS!!
------------
wash: Purpose Facial Wash (Walmart $4.75) moisturize face: Neutrogrena Healthy Face Lotion (Target $6.00) spot treatment: Acne.org & Mary Kay Benzoil Peroxide Daily exfoliant: Proactive Face Wash (with those little scrubber beads) lips: Dr. Dan's Cortibalm (Dermstore.com 3 tubes @ $7.00 each) pills: 40 MG of Claravis (generic accutane) 10 MG of Prednisone every other day (anti-inflammatory) 1 "Desogen" Birth Control pill daily Started Accutane on November 1st 2009. chin up, your beautiful. |
