It's amazing how even in the face of love, abundance, and honesty one can be drawn towards fear and negativity. It's a full time job trying to silence thoughts that don't work for me. Whew. But it's worth it.

It's very disconcerting when I am listening to someone talk (during a lecture, sermon, or seminar) and they say "You wouldn't understand _____" or, "Let me dumb it down for you".... I know the intent is probably good; but let your audience feel like you have confidence in them and their critical thinking skills! Never underestimate people and their intelligence. It comes off as insulting and distracts from the original message.
