Hi,

Just wanted to share my results and see if any other TCA Crossers have any feedback of their own. I started TCA Crossing in October and have crossed particularly scars 3-5, it's been about a month's break since my last one.

My scaring is pretty mild, I'm more interested these days in improving the splotchiness of my skin tone. The scars I'm describing, the largest is 2-3 mm across and at the deepest a 1 to 1-5 mm.

My results so far are modest, the scars reform but not necessarily the way I like. One example is my lightest one which was less than half a mm deep but on the part of the cheek below my eye, the area has gotten smoother and filled in a little but not as much as some of the others.

In comparision one of my deep scars has filled in to the half mm point but the tissue is definetly rougher.

To sum it up, there are tangible improvements but I have my doubts about further crosses ever filling in to the level of my normal skin. I'll probably cross one or more deep ones again, but eventually I think I'll try lasers to try to blend it in to the skin around it.

I would like to share my experiences after 3-4 months of TCA Cross and to hopefully get other veterans to share their experiences. In reading past posts I have often seen posts of people stating improvements to varying degrees but not really elaborating on how their scars have healed.

To provide a background, I have a number of icepick and boxcar scars mainly on my cheeks. I consider my scaring rather mild, with many healing to a fair degree over the years. While I will never have porcelain like skin, I'm pretty happy with what I have and I chose to cross to work on the 10ish major scars I would ideally like to improve.

I am quite gun shy about how I cross, as long as I feel a stinging sensation than I consider the area done even if only a tiny part of the skin is frosted. Over 3-4 months I have crossed a particular scar at most 3 times.

As for results, I find icepicks around the size of 1mm-2mm fill in quite nicely, the new tissue is darker scar tissue which in the future I may try laser resurfacing. Because of the discolouration it is hard to be objective on whether they have entirely filled in but if they have not I would say the difference is less than half of a millimeter in depth.

Boxcars are a more interesting phenomenon and I hope to hear some other people's feedback on this. I have 3 major boxcars I've crossed, one of them become worse the first time because a pimple subsequently formed under it and stretched it. On the second cross of that scar though it has filled in more but is still wider then it's original shape.

The other boxcars have filled in, but they appear to be collapsing, think of a oval getting less round and gradually becoming more like a line. I think some of my other larger icepicks have behaved similarly.

I have reached a dilemma of what to do with my 2-3 shallow wide scars (Less than 1 mm deep), I may just have to leave them to lasers someday but I would be interested if others have tried crossing them.

Hello, I bought TCA Latte and Royal Jelly from perfectcomplexion.net and I wanted to share my results with it as I go along.

(To give fair warning, I am not endorsing anyone to buy or not buy these products based on my experience. Simply that I enjoy reading the boards and can sympathize with the rest of you who want to diminish or get rid of their scars)

Now to give a little background, I'm male in my 20s and east asian, I consider my scarring mild, with a number of small ice pick scars at most 1mm deep and 2-3 across. (I don't really have any photos because they tend to be blurry and from my experience reading these boards, the definition of mild varies greatly based on the scarring of the person judging it.) My skin is splotchy and prior to using the products I bought, I would occasionally get mild acne and rarely a annoying cyst.

I am a student so I frequently go with 5-6 hours of sleep, something that affects how my skin will look that day compared to if I got 10. I go into such detail to give you a better idea of the gains I made, rather than saying my skin looks a lot better.

Now I chose to buy the latte because I really can't afford a laser procedure or a series of microdermabrasions, especially if the results turned out to be minimal. I also accepted that whatever I chose it would take months, if not a year or a few years to make dramatic changes in my skin.

So I bought the latte and royal jelly, Julie doubled my jelly size and offered me two free samples of scrubbing crystals and another tca product that I have not tried.

I'm currently in about my second week of using the latte daily

Keeping in mind I do not know much about peels, I still don't know how "sloughing" is suppose to be like. When I use the latte, the next day my skin will exfoliate a lot more, like a lot of fuzz or a lot of little pieces of skin on my face (especially since I take a warm shower in the morning). I'm not exactly thrilled about going out like that but by midday it seems to all fall off. The amount I use is a factor in this, in that if I use too much on a rough day, I WILL irritate my skin and make it red.

So what about results? Well I think it's helping with my skin tone, some of my scars seem to have puffed up more. BUT as we all know skin changes throughout the day and it may just be I'm looking at it at the right time. I'm also avoiding touching my skin except during a shower.

I BELIEVE it's helping my skin to operate better, I've gone cold turkey from my usual acne scrub and except for a initial breakout I think it's working out.

Bottomline, I haven't had anything miraculous happen and in two weeks it would just be ridiculous in expect that. There's no doubt the TCA latte will do things to your skin, especially if you used too much, whether that's good or bad is hard to tell. I FEEL it has improved my skintone and is helping my skin get healthier to naturally resist acne. But I did come into this believing it would do something and even though I don't care for all I know it could be just from going cold turkey on my other products and believing.

As for the royal jelly, I only used it twice and I'm a bit more skeptical but I'll elaborate on that another time.

P.S. I have also bought her cross kit and I hope to try that soon.
