hi,

I had some fillers injected into a scar that was caused by trauma but it does look like a acne/pock scar. the filler made

I say 60% inprovement but theres one area where it seems to be not even, the doctor even tried to inject that area directly (litrally) to raise it but it looks like its bound down under the skin, i was wondering if its still possible to perform a subcision even after fillers have been placed in?

hey guys

just curious, since bp is used with erythromycin sometimes to limit bacterial resistance; can azelaic acid be used instead of bp? and instead of a topical erythromycin an oral version be used?

the logic is basically oral erythromycin for inside attack while topical azelaic is for the surface killing the bacteria and limiting any resistance but is there any research where the effects are cancelled out by each other, adverse effects, limited effectivness etc?

thanks

Hi people.

this has been bothering me for a while. i have a degree in microbiology but i still don't understand why this happens. when bacteria such as p. acne grows in a blocked follicle it causes a spot.

the bodies immune system will quickly detect these microbes and begin to attacked using white cells on many types (mainly macrophages) this causes inflamtion dues to chemicles released by the white cells. as time goes by puss occurs signalling death of the bacteria then healing and repair phase.

once we have been exposed once shouldn't our immune system destroy any p .acnes in the follicle before a spot forms? this would be true for any microbe that invades our body. antibodies would still linger in the body, macrophages would be more effective against the bacteria and memory cells would be made. so why are we still prone to them?

Hi guys,

I've been using menscience oil free moistrizer for good 9 months which i've found to be great with conjuction with BP. but recently i've been using it and has caused my face to break out in isolated rash patches. these go away after a couple of days but its like an allergic reaction.

i'm wondering why is it happening now since its been alright for 9months. has anyone else had a similar experiance? this has happened to another moistriser which i can't use any more because it causes the same effect.

thanks
