I'm getting Pixel soon for the second time. I was thinking of either dermarolling two weeks before the laser or two weeks after or dermarolling two weeks before and after. I would think this would maximize the benefits of the laser. Is it safe? Has anyone tried this?

I just came back from my docs. I had a full face pixel. My face hurts like hell!! It's on fire! I bought this natural water to spray on my face, you can put it in the refrigerator. Right now I just feel like putting my face in a bucket of ice. Can someone tell me how long the burning feeling lasts.................
Also, how much improvement do u see at the 2-3 week point. I don't expect to see any improvement in the next week, I understand it takes months for collagen to rebuild but when does improvement start? She said I only need one or two pixels which is great. If it doesn't zap some of the worse scars I have she said she could use fillers. I need to get my biafine pres but I don't feel like going out when it's hot and my face is burning so I'll get it later.

I had subcision done today. I was numbed with ice and then they used lidocaine to numb the area. I couldn't feel a thing, it didn't hurt at all. The office staff was really nice which made my experience pleasant. I held a gauze pad to stop the bleeding. After the procedure they put a pressure bandage on the side of my face which I can take off tomorrow morning. My doctor said that it can take up to 18 months for collagen to generate and she re-evaluates at the 6 month mark. I was advised to use Vaseline instead of neosporin because some people have a allergic reaction to it. I have to moisturize until it is fully healed. Anyone else have this done and when did you see improvement?

Other than that, I've been taking some supplements: B-Complex, Vitamin C, Zinc, Biotin, Flaxseed Oil, and Oil of Evening Primrose. I have been using glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and green cream before bed for rapid exfoliation. I really want to get my skin as flawless as possible because I am going to be in a wedding.

I just did my first TCA Cross last night. I did about eight scars. I did my ice pick scarring. The scars were white a few seconds after but you can't even notice I did anything now. They haven't scabbed yet. I'm hoping this works. eusa_pray.gif if it works I might try it on my bigger atrophic scars that aren't ice picks. Is this a good idea? Can TCA be used for all atrophic scarring or just ice pick? I would make sense to me that it can only be used for ice pick because an ice pick is like a circle and it collapses which makes the ice pick even smaller. Am I right?
