I love the products and this site, but i was just wondering why it costs me 10.00 shipping to get my products?

they ship out of oakland, ca or san francisco I believe...... and i live only 2 hours from there, any reason it costs so much? I cant afford to buy in bulk... i can only buy a 1-2 month supply at a time.

I wanted to post a positve message to those on dans regimen....with mild acne

It always starts off sketchy like they say, with irritation and dryness, but being on bp before this, i knew already it would be a month or two before results were seen.

I have used all parts of the regimen including jojoba oil, instead of aha I use apple cider vinegar mixed with dans moisturizer, but I have to say it really works! After the first breakout, I left them alone, no picking, moisturized when I was dry, and delt with redness. One month later, I have not one active spot, no whitehead, very few blackheads, and because I was gentle like they say to be, not really any noticable red marks. Redness is pretty mild.........I use the cleanser to shave and I am beginning to think it might have been my shaving cream that caused a lot of breakouts, dans cleanser is not full of harmful ingredients. Trash your borbasol.

Like I said, I used bp before, but I wasnt doing it right...because of this site, I found the proper way to see the benefits. I went from lots of blackheads and some zits to almost nothing...

Thanks dan and the rest on the site. cool.gif

If you feel uncertian of yourself due do skin issues or any other reason under the high heavens, one might benefit by taking a honest look at who you are and who you want to be....and as someone outside might see you. If you aspire to feel better, be interested in other people than just yourself. To be interesting, be interested.

Encourage people to talk about their accomplishments.

Dr Nicholas Butler said "people who think excessively and extensively of themselves are hopelessly uneducated no matter how well instructed they may be. The life of many people could change if only someone could make him feel important.

Dont nauseate people with drama, or issues of self centered-ness, but, bolster egos and encourage achievement in everyone, and the same will always come back to you.

Controll your temper, be an honest individual, sincerely listen to people, and trash your attitude of prejudiced, or biased thoughts of any individuals, but especially of yourself. Whenever you go out-of-doors, draw the chin in, carry the crown of the head high, and fill the lungs to the utmost; drink in the sunshine; greet your friends with a smile, and put soul into every handclasp. Do not fear being misunderstood and do not waste a minute thinking about your enemies. Try to fix firmly in your mind what you would like to do; and then, without veering off direction, you will move straight to the goal. Keep your mind on the great and splendid things you would like to do, and then, as the days go gliding away, you will find yourself unconsciously seizing upon the opportunities that are required for the fulfillment of your desire, just as the coral insect takes from the ruining tide the element it needs. Picture in your mind the able, earnest, useful person you desire to be, and the thought you hold is hourly transforming you into that particular individual…Thought is supreme. Preserve a right mental attitude-the attitude of courage, frankness, and good cheer. To think rightly is to create. All things come through desire and every sincere prayer is answered.

YO, Ive switched back to apple cider vinegar recently, drinking and toning with it 2x per day,
and it (for me) works better than anything else... yes, ive tried it all . Ive had mild to moderate to severe, but interestingly I never scar.... since i was 12, now i am 20 and feeling good.

ACV is ph of 5.0
Jojoba oil (ph of 5.5) by itself is perfect for moistuizer...
Organic honey is ph 4.8 and a good wash or mask...one time I woke up to both of my cats licking my face...they had horribly smelly breath...lol
Organic aloe gel is ph of 5.4 and is good for hair or body or face ( some brands arent so you need to be careful)

Acne is proven to not be able to survive on an acidic face (5.5 ph) 99% of the time
Any higher than 5.5 our skin is more prone to acne bacteria multiplying and clogging up pores
If you research it our faces are supposed to be acidic anyways.
BP has a alkaline affect even though it by itself kills bacterias....
exfoliation can be attained with good ol baking soda once a week follow with acv toner...

Im just sharing some things I wish I knew a long time ago. Dont get any ideas with the cat thing, its an unpleasant experience and I wish that the sheer horror of it wasnt burned into my memory forever as a tradgic freakshow. Plus now there always tension in the room between us. And they lick their butts all the time...gross. Im wierd I know... And i really dont know why Im still writing what Im thinking, who cares about my cats butts? should I try some small talk? What? I dont know.....i hate this....I should stop.......okay im stopping..................................................?

I definately agree with you guys on greasy foods...
I avoid fast food completely, and try to eat good foods, but I dont get too anal about what I eat..
once and a while i'll have pizza or a brownie. But it is your omega ratio I watch, I usually try to keep it at 2:1 or 1:1 omega 3 to omega 6,9....means taking fish or flax oil 2 to 3 tablepoons each day. It keeps your body non-inflammatory....also drinking a glass of water with a lemon slice squeezed will alkalize your body if you eat a lot of gluten or meats.

A supplement called mega-h is good too, it keeps your body hydrated, and balanced.
Detox 7 is at walmart it is for cleansing..works good once a month.

I drink pure water regularly, along with a few glasses of green tea, I like it iced...my job is very physical so thats my regular excersize, and I lift weights to beat stress.

And i make my own toner, and lotions but i use acnetix as my face wash in the morning. At night i just take a shower and tone, then lotion. Green tea and apple cider vinegar, and little bit of tea tree and lavender oil is the toner. Lotion is aveeno oat flour lotion mixed with a little bit of apple cider vinegar, jojoba, tea tree and lavender oils. Pretty simple once you have all the stuff...and the average cost is about $20 bucks a month. Make small batches and use every 5 days so it dont spoil. Mega-h is an extra $15

The diet keeps you clean, and non-inflammatory, and the skin regimen keeps your face
ph balanced and really helps with scars too. Meaning little to no acne depending on your skin type.

Also dont scrub your face to harshly.. I only wash with scrub once in the morning, and be gentle, it helps. After 8 years of acne this has really helped me be healthy and happy. You will notice with the detox products your skin clears magically, and is improving quickly (weeks not months). Hope this helps you as it did me. biggrin.gif
