Ok, this is the second log for me. I am trying another regimen in hopes it will work better then before. I am 29 yr old female with fair, oily, and senitive skin. I have a tendency towards redness and irritation. My acne is mild, with mostly small or med size bumps. I have used RAM .04% and Taz .1% until last month but I was just so tired of beng irritated and red all the time and I was still breaking out some, which I thought should not be happening
Here's my regimen:
Morning: wash with spectro jel; spot treat with benzaclin and Paula's Choice 1% BHA
Night: wash with spectro jel; apply Paula's Choice 1% BHA and spot treat with benzaclin
2 times a week: Apply Differin

At the moment I have tons of little red bumps on my cheeks and forehead. I have been using the BHA for about 1 week and my skin has completely erupted. I was hoping this wouldn't happen. I was also considering using Green Cream but not sure if that would be too much (I was using it on my forehead until yesterday but my forehead looked so bad I stopped).

So I will try to keep track of my progress. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please feel free!!

OK-I'm pretty frustrated! I have been using Taz and sprio for 2.5 months (prior to that i used RAM and differin) and my skin looks like crap! I have little red bumps and splotches all over my face. Before it was starting look better (not great of course but better) and then another breakout. I thought I would be totally clear by now or at least close.
I am so frustrated...I have tried everything and I still look like crap. Everything seems to work for a while and to an extent but just not good enough. I am 29 yrs old and my skin looks much worse then it did when I was teenager. I hate going out anywhere because I feel so self conscious. My boyfriend says that problem skin are irrelevent in the end but i've had this forever and i feel bad about myself all the time, so it seems pretty relevent right now (though I absolutely understand what he's saying). Anyway thanks for reading:)

Hi all,
I'm trying to decide whether accutane would be a good option for my mild but persistent acne. I have had mild acne since I was 16 and I am 29 now. I have used almost all the meds available (currently on taz, spiro, and finacea) but it seems like everything works some but I still have pimples and clogged pores. I have been on retinoids for 9 months-Differin, RAM, and now Taz (only 5 weeks), yet I still break out. I am so tired of always having acne-i thought i would have grown out of it or something by now. My skin is rather sensitve (I'm very pink and have a tendency towards redness) and very oily (within 2 hours I am oily). So I'm wondering if it seems like I would be a good candidate for accutane? I know that everyone is different but I keep reading that women who are older and have mild acne are less likely to have a good experience. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi all, Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday!
I have a question about the Taz cream-I have been using it for 3 weeks or so. Lately I have been getting more blackheads and clogged pores then when using RAM/before starting Taz. Anyone else experience this? I can't tell if it's the IB or just a reaction to the mineral oil (i know people say it doesn't clog pores but for me, anything oily clogs my pores). Any experinces would be great!
