I'm about 3 months into the regimen, and my skin's getting alot better. Here's some pics.. Also any idea how to get rid of the redness in the face? I think my skin would be alot better if the redness was the same color as my skin ;o

First week on the regimen :\:\

I'm using Dan's BP, yes. I use three 3 products from Acne.org (Cleanser/BP/Moisturizer). I don't have a sunscreen, but I don't think it's the sun making my skin red. I think it's the BP. I kept with it because it was clearing acne, but leaves redness. People said it'd subside after a few weeks but going on month 3 now and it's still red as I first started...

Thanks man, i'm actually seeing hope for my acne to leave... It's mostly just red marks/red skin if I can get rid of that... i'd be about 80% clear. I'd give myself atm a 55% improvement from what I was.

Try the AHA... I think it helps with the red face plus left over acne spots!

I think it might be Dan's Moisturizer that causes my redness. Yes I know, I've read the stuff on "it stings for the first few weeks, etc etc" but it's been 3 months. and it still stings/makes my face red instantly as I put it on. I do have real sensitive skin...

Sun exposure while using BP can cause redness and can induce other symptoms caused by sun damage. It is highly recommended to use sunscreen. I like the walgreens sunscreen, that is shown in this video.

I think it helps a lot and it leaves the skin super soft.

I believe Dan is taking out one of the ingredients in his mosturizer that people say "sting" their face. So hopefully when that comes out, you can see, if that is the problem.

Yea its probably the moisturizer, I had the same problem. Try and use AHA at night.

... we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. Yet everything happens only a certain number of times, and a very small number, really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, some afternoon that's so deeply a part of your being that you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four or five times more. perhaps not even that. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless.

You could try the cetaphil moisturizer, this is what ive always used instead of the org. I use the AHA at night and it does sting/tingle for me for about an hour, but it does help with red marks and it does not make my face any redder.

I know you said you were going to possibly pick up some Cetaphil, but if you can't get it, or don't like it, and can order products online, I recommend Complex 15 Therapeutic moisturizer. It has the same consistency as Dan's moisturizer, but creates no burning or redness and moisturizes pretty well! It's not quite as moisturizing as Dan's, but if you add some jojoba oil it's great. I use it in the mornings because I wear makeup and don't want to use Dan's moisturizer with the jojoba oil in it.

It's worth a shot if you can get it! Hope you figure something out...your skin has definitely cleared up!
