You should be fine taking fish oil pills. Go to walmart and buy a bunch. But you do need cod liver oil in liquid. If you can't find any take a vitamin A supplement a day and raise the fish oil amount as well as taking one extra calcium + D supplement to get all of the vitamin D your body needs daily in case you don't go out much. Whatever you decide to do let me know and I can advice you to take exactly how much
I have all my vitamins packed and ready to go, also extra b complex for extra stressful times. I just won't have my oils. I took fish oil capsules but only less than a gram a day, didn't have enough space for too many.
I just hope I hold up, I would be upset if it got ruined.
Well you will only get 800mg of omega 3 with just cod liver oil, but if you would like to add one first, add the cod liver oil first and if you get clear with just that and olive oil then that would be great! You then won't need anything else added in oils wise.
No you won't need less olive oil, because cod liver oil and olive oil are both completely different. Olive oil = omega 6 and 9 (anti-inflammatory fat, harmless omega 6 content). and cod liver oil = omega 3 and retinol =)
Thanks! Yeah I can't take any of the oils, and I hope the fish oil capsules will withstand the trip otherwise I will be downing rancid oil. And no olive oil either. I'll hope to buy some there but I doubt it. But yeah I took all my pills. Damn a 30 day supply laid out looks insane, I never realized it. But it's okay, well worth it. I also have those super multi vitamins (like gnc mega mens, or NOW adam etc) but I was like nah I rather follow my route.
lol thanks, I will be going to India For family reasons, really boring. Plus I won't be on the regimen so I am scared shitless to be honest! And the not so clean water to bathe in along with the dirt + excess sebum will be chaos. I just hope I survive!
Well basically you want to aim to get 2 grams of omega 3 per day. It says on there that they have 870 mg of omega 3 per serving (2 pills), so you would need 5 pills per day, I would take 3 in the morning, and two at night.
Now the cod liver oil you need 4 a day to get 100%. =) I just don't know the purity of the cod liver oil from walgreens but I hope it's good, I mean it is walgreens after all. Just don't want any toxins or heavy metals to be there.
Just curious, why weren't you doing well with the liquids? They are very pure and pristine.
Also next time be sure to ask before you buy fish and cod liver oils, these brands are used for particular reasons.
Let me know the answer and then I can advise you. Also let me know if you still have the receipts.
For the vit E then don't worry about it, eating the oils won't work I believe. Or find the best foods with high vitamin E value and eat it, otherwise don't worry too much about it.
You can just eat fish to get your omega 3's, twice a week should suffice
great! glad to hear your results
I have been on this for about 6 or more months I believe. I still do get a zit here and there when I get careless or when I get overly stressed or just things of that nature, the usual kind everyone gets from time to time, but my acne phase is gone.
As long as you take it by the expiration date you should be fine. You don't have much choices left there and gnc is a good brand.
No, you should take at least 7 per day. There's not really much inside each capsule being an oil. Split up with meals throughout the day.
It changes from person to person, some people can't tolerate glycerin etc, most can. I don't find any effect. If you want, you should get liquids. Carlson is a great brand, one teaspoon and you'll be done.
I put two and two together based off all the research in the benefits of olive oil link I have under the research section in the first post. =) It is an anti inflammatory, has squalene for nourishment of the skin when our sebum is excreted, it has perfect amounts of omega 6 in relation to omega 9 to ensure we don't get too much omega 6 in a day while still getting the recommended daily fat intake, and also it completely kills inflammation as well. Also it reduces blood pressure and it's a healing fat, completely opposite from all the other cooking fats. It hydrates the skin very well too, so all that being considered it does a pretty decent job! I tested it out personally and really loved the effects so then I simply kept finding more information as to why and what etc.
I heard optizinc is pretty darn good, I have not taken it personally but think it's a great idea. Does only one brand make it? Is solaray another one? How are they different?
Thank you for posting this! Really encouraging, you're very determined and you're right, there's only one way to hit acne... no matter what we do it's all a matter of mindset, gotta keep believing and pushing!
I think from what you're taking right now it should make a pretty good impact Keep going with it and see what happens. I am not sure how crucial the rest will be in the overall effect, but keep going with this
The second link has "Vitamin E" in "other ingredients" so it will be fine. GNC makes quality products, it's just that they are pricey for regular items. But quality wise they are good. So if you can afford it go for it, it's safe and effective
