This is my current condition. The picture presented here is taken with the same iPod today.
About 5 months ago (February 2013) is when the previous photo was taken with my iPod.
As you can see, things are much better. I have been using very good methods at home to help treat my horrendous hyper-pigmentation.
Always, my acne turns into hyper-pigmentation...and in this case it was the worst. But things are now better and still continuing to get better.
(Btw, my skin is much more red and the hyper-pigmentation is still very visible in real life, the light washes it out.)
My concern now is the rolling scars that you can see in the photo. They are mostly in the middle region of my forehead and they're quite difficult to cover up with makeup.
I don't know if they will ever go away or how to treat them let alone cover them up!
To me, honestly they look horrible and I hate it when I see them in the reflection of the mirror it depresses me..
Please please PLEASE let me know your thoughts and suggestions...it would really mean a lot.
We all go through similar struggles, which is why I love this website so much. Communicating to help one another really does make me happy.
Thank you for reading!

thisismystory added a gallery image in Member picturesMy acne. This is my acne at it's worst. I didn't feel human, I felt like I was the only one dealing with such a bad condition of acne. I didn't feel as happy anymore.
I used to be the person who didn't care about acne; it was never on my mind. That's until high school came around.
I guess I'm sharing this because I just wanted to show that anyone can get acne. You shouldn't be ashamed if you have it.
But this is how bad it was. Please let me know what you think of my horrible acne...it would be nice to know what others think because I couldn't even go out in public looking at others.
