So i've been using this product for almost a week now only in the night time after applying BP. When I started I had like 4 dark spots from very recent hormonal zits ninja.gif I left them alone to heal by themselves and they left those hyperpigmentation marks. they will fade it just takes forever. I've been applying the AHA+ on them and all over as a moisturizer at night although I dab a bit more on the spots...and I can really see them fading. Before, even after I put on my pressed powder, the spots are still somewhat noticeable. But now after I put the powder on, they totally disappear unless you look SUPER closely and stare at me to look for them tongue.gif ....so I do look flawless at first glance (ha ha) biggrin.gif I don't even need tinted moisturizer anymore for extra coverage during the daytime prior to applying the pressed powder.

I also see my melasma (dark patches on the side of my skin side effect from birth control pills), fading ever so slowly. Slowly, but I still see a difference!!!

Overall my skin tone is better too. My face looks brighter and not blotchy. I used to be red in some patches and then ok in others which tends to happen when my allergies are acting up. While I accept that I will never be Neutrogena girl-flawless (i have tiny old acne scar/indentations from when I was picking at my breakouts before i knew better), having the best skin I can ever have is enough and at least even if i dont apply any pressed powder, i still look pretty smooth and even. This gives me hope that I will never be a slave to any coverups like tinted moisturizer.

And the added bonus for me is that the AHA really works on stopping the impending breakouts on its tracks, when applied on top of BP overnight. I would have had 2-3 new zits by now that have shrunk significantly before they had a chance to erupt.

Anyone else had success with AHA?

I have faint melasma on the sides of my cheeks, my forehead and chin. Not noticeable, but hello dullness confused.gif I ordered Dan's AHA, so do you guys think this will help with that or should I go to the derma for melasma? I think it's a side effect from my birth control pills although I use moisturizer with SPF.

I don't really break out anymore except for the occasional zit before that time of the month, and it heals by itself, although it leaves dark scars that do fade over time (as in mroe than a month!). I never used AHA before so I'm wondering what to expect. Also occasionally if my allergies act up I get some redness (almost like a rash, but minor) around my chin.

And do I apply the AHA before or after BP? Currently using generic CVS pharmacy BP ointment only at night, for "maintenance". Only as a spot treatment on my cheeks and forehead where the hormonal zit usually pop up.
