I want to order the Terproline Face Cream from skinmed.co.uk (yeah, not the Professional one) but since I've never ordered anything internationally, I'm afraid I may never get it. I also tried checking-out the cream to see how much shipping would cost me (I'm in California) and it was 10 pounds (yesterday 1 pound = 1.43 US dollars). $14.30 seems pretty cheap for shipping...?

Hey everyone,
A few days ago I went to the salon and had my hair lightened. Before leaving, the hairdresser straightened my already-straight hair with a FHI flat iron. The end result was amazing. She didn't apply any serum or spray and my hair ended up looking really sleek and silky and felt wonderful. This was the first time an iron was used on my hair. I've avoided irons for fear of damage. I want to purchase a flat iron now to use on occasion. I do have a couple questions though. 1) Does the brand of an iron really matter? I was thinking of getting an FHI 1" one, like the one that was used on me but I've read different reviews and I guess different irons produce different results for people/? 2) My hair looked really nice after it was straightened. It looked very healthy. Is this just because it was my first time using an iron? Can I expect to see more damage if I use an iron once a week? 3) If I do get the iron, would it be okay to use it after I've applied oil to my hair (when it's dry, of course). I usually apply coconut oil after I shower to condition my strands. ...??? I've read you should apply some kind of heat-protectant product... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
I've had this scar for almost 3 years now. I only started "treating" it about 1.5 years ago. I've managed to lessen the appearance of the scar itself (ie. the scar on the surface) with peels but the whole area is depressed. I started spot-treating day and night with copper peptides since September. The scar is right above the mole and near the tear trough: image removed image removed image removed The scar really isn't that bad but the main reason it bothers me so much is because the depressed area gives the illusion that my already unfortunate case with undereye hollowness is a lot worse... It kind of extends the tear trough line. image removed image removed I'm hesitant to do fillers. Anyone have suggestions?

I'd like to go to MAC, as their salespeople seem to be more knowledgeable about makeup than those at Sephora, etc. (I think...?), and get recommendations but I know I'd have to try at various pigments over there and I'm really scared I may breakout. I know they have to sanitize everything but...uh...still
How can I go about doing this? - Would applying a primer (that I know would not cause breakouts) protect my skin? Any suggestions? EDIT: I do mean blush mostly and maybe some highlighters/?...and maybe foundation. I am paranoid about someone over there applying eyeshadows out of the samples with their brush unto my lids too, though. =\

Has anyone tried this?
Edit: I have two tubes of retinol, a 2oz. bottle of 20% TCA, a facial brush, and a variety of local drugstore scrubs. If I brush my face with the scrubs 2x a day and apply retinol every other night and do a 20% TCA peel every once a month, you think that's too harsh? |
