Well, the accutane did it's job.

5 months later, I barely get any acne at all (on my face, I still get body acne). Just the occasional small ones that don't even leave a red mark.

Buuttttt now I'm left with a face full of scars. It's disgusting.

I think I regret taking it..

My acne is gone..

But now my whole face is covered in scars. Not just red marks, indented rolling scars. I look like an 80 year old man.

I thought I'd be happy when my acne was gone.

Sorry for this mini-rant. It's just bothering me a lot. Going to the scar forums and finding out that pretty much everyone with them can't get them to leave is also really bothering me.

What's the name of these scars, and how can I get rid of them? (pics)

They look HORRIBLE in certain lighting. These pictures don't show nearly how bad they are. I'll try to get better ones on a sunny day.

I was on accutane for 4 months. I finished around a month and a half ago.

So I finished my course last week.

It was looking good when I finished. No new spots, ust a bunch of scars. I thought it'd be good from then on out.

Then a couple days I started getting really red after I showered. more then I ever did on the course. Now, its like that all the time. It looks awful and makes my scars look that much worse.

Whats going on? I thought Id be getting better after I was done.

How long after taking the accutane does it take for..

my skin to start healing itself at a normal pace? I noticed my red marks take a LONGGGGGG time to fade. I noticed a mark from the first week is still there, and hardly faded at all (on my third month now).. It used to take a good month to be fade a lot. Its been 3 months with barely any difference.

Anyways. Will my skin start healing like it used to right when I stop, or does it take a while after tane?

Edit - is it normal for someone to be on it for only 4 months 80 mg a day? I kind of wanted more, so there's a higher chance to knock it out for good, but he said 4 was fine.
