So I'm on my couch having a nice night in, watching a movie and up comes another one of those Clearasil ads (I immediately roll my eyes). Anyway this latest ad promises "Clearer skin within 4 hours or money your money back!!".
Seriously, how do these profit-hungry companies continue to get away with this crap?? I have never had any product make much of a difference over 24 hours let alone 4 hours. Any claim like this is just total BS. The Clearasil's and Proactive's of this world can all go rot in hell.

Was having a terrible terrible breakout today. Was really trying to avoid people all day. It became so bad, I decided to walk down 20 flights!!!!!! of stairs just to avoid having to be in a lift with people on my floor for 20 seconds (I've got issues I know). The lighting in our elevator has these bright fluorescent lights that pretty much reveal every flaw on my face. I know it's so trivial but being in that tight space in really bright lighting makes me feel really uncomfortable.
It just got me wondering, to what crazy lengths have you gone to as a result of your acne??

Has anyone seen the movie "Who Killed the Electric Car"??
Just to provide you with a quick synopsis of the movie: The movie deals with the history of the electric car, and the reason's behind it's death, and how the auto and oil industries worked to kill it off. It points out that Bush's chief influences, Cheney, Rice were all former executives and board members of oil and auto companies. And then once the cars started appearing on the roads, how GM went and took back every EV car which was sold and disposed of ALL of them, as if trying to remove any evidence of their existence. It shows how the oil companies were afraid of losing out on trillions in potential profit from their transportation fuel monopoly over the coming decades, and how the auto companies were afraid of losses due to mass EV production. Now why I am posting this on an Acne site? Simple reason. I believe we will never hear of a cure for acne for the same reasons as posted above. MONEY. Acne is a BUSINESS not a disease that people are trying to cure, simply because there is too much MONEY involved in it. I guarantee you that if all of a sudden there was a holistic cure discovered, it would NOT be broadcast, as all these companies would go broke. It has been proven time and time again these products DO NOT work, yet companies continue to feed us this crap with their miracle creams. It just baffles me that we can send a man on the moon, and develop life saving vaccines against cancer, yet we have no clue when it comes to acne. I simply DO NOT BELIEVE IT. If there really was so much research put into solving this mystery where are the results??? It would not surprise me if a conclusive study has ALREADY been conducted on the real causes of acne, however is not available simply because it would send the Clearasil's and Proactive's of this world BROKE.

Isn't it amazing that when you have clearish skin the amount of confidence and enthusiam you have about life, . . . and how it can just be COMPLETELY destroyed with a breakout. I know for myself, I just know in the morning whether I am going to have a good or a bad day. Waking up with a major breakout just destroys my mood, and I just know I will be thinking about it the entire day.
The moment when I wake up and look in the mirror is the point which determines what kind of mood I will be in for the rest of the day. Does anyone else feel like their mood is dicated by whether or not they have a breakout in the morning? I know it does for me. I know some people will say to just stop thinking about it during the day, but I find this almost impossible during a major breakout. . . .

Just wanted to ask whether the Blessed Herbs Colon Cleansing Kit is worth it??
I have seen many positive reviews about it, and hardly anything negative at all but I am always kinda sceptical about testimonials (as Blessed probably would have paid for a lot of those testimonials). I would give much more weight to testimonials to people who have used it here. I have read that the Blessed Herbs kit is only product that has resulted in people to expell muquid plaque. Could this possibly be because the BH product is the only one which contains Benoite Clay?? And in fact maybe this is not MP but actually the Benoite Clay you are removing from your intestines??? Please provide any feedback on the product before I go out and spend over $100 of my hard earned dollars. Thanks! |
