Hello. I have been taking Yasmin for 4 years and it cleared my skin beautifully - I could go to bed without washing my face, and I had pretty bad acne before that! over the past two months or so, though, I've been breaking out quite frequently around my chin and mouth. I just got back from the dermatologist and he prescribed me YAZ, saying that it was almost exactly like Yasmin with only one small difference. Needless to say, I'm a bit nervous switching from something I have used for 4 years straight. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I am a 24 year old female who has suffered from moderate acne for 10 years. I have been on Yasmin for 4 years with amazing results.

However, about 2 months ago, my face started breaking out again - worse than ever, and on my chin and all around my mouth. I thought it was from the mineral makeup I had switched to around the time this all started, so I quit using it about 2 weeks ago.

Has anyone had this issue of your skin changing its response to Yasmin? It used to be that I could go to bed without washing my face and have nothing happen, just because I was on the pill.
