Yeah, so I left on 50% of lactic acid for like 5 minutes. My skin has brown, scabby marks around it now. They're kinda peeling away, but its Wednesday now. I need this to be gone be Friday because I'm meeting this girl that I like.....what to do? I'm a guy so don't say makeup......that might be my ultimate option though.....
I put on the acid Monday night....do you think it'll go away by friday morning?

Water. Water cleared up my skin. What I found out is that over the use those fancy wancy products don't do jacksquat. Water is where its at. Let your face fight the acne on its own. I used to get the nastiest looking pimples ever...now with the water treatment (wash face with water 5 times a day), my skin cleared up. No more pimples, just an occasional small one here and there.
Water is the universal solvent. It also saves money.

what do you guys think? All the products in the 3 step regimen have BP... a cleanser with Bp... a toner... and a lotion.... seems like it would work, what are ya'lls experience w/it?

Well where to start. I've been dealing with acne since 6th grade, now I'm a freshman in college. I could never find a good way to combat it.
Recently I was researching and, from the information I gathered, salicylic acid is supposed to be a good acne product. So I ordered a 20% salicylic acid gel peel. didn't really help my skin. So then I tried benzoyl peroxide, more specifically Neutrogena Acne on the spot treatment, 2.5 percent. I should have found this sooner. I know it doesn't matter what product I use but more importantly I found out that BP is a great way to stop acne from forming and current ones to go away. So I built a regimen: Morning, wash face with Neutrogena Face wash deep clean scrub, I think it has something called Beta Hydroxy in it. Then apply the NOTST BP2.5 on my whole face, a pea sized amount. Then moisturize with spf15. I repeat the same thing at night, but I apply a bleach to get rid of my acne scars, I think its called Hydoquinione or something. I'm not gonna use the Neutrogena on the spot treatment anymore because the tube was only .75 oz for 6 bucks. I can get the Acne.org 16 oz bottle for 35, which is so much of a greater investment. What do you guys think? Am I doing it right or wrong? any tips on how to improve my regimen? I don't want to put too many things on my face because I don't want my face to get used to it, and if I ever stop using it, I'll breakout like hell again. |
