Summer hats?

Hi!

So... do ladies still wear hats during summer? I'm 19, and don't see many people my age wearing them around campus. I'm been using a night treatment cream with retinol, and am looking into glycolic products. Consequently, my skin will be very sensitive to the sun-- which is why I'm thinking about getting a hat (in addition to the sunscreen and transition glasses).

In winter I see cute woolen newsboy and military-inspired caps. But the thing is, I don't know what kind of styles are usually worn during the summer. I would very much appreciate any input about what kind of hats are normal to wear during summer.
