So I recently tried this stuff and found it helpful in controlling shine. However, it is expensive for a little .6 ounce tube. Does anyone here know of a similarly effective product that is more economical?

Triplet sisters scarred in fire

Hello!
Doing so research on stocks this morning I came across the company Isolagen, Inc. To my excitement, they are working on a treatment for acne scars which has just entered phase III. It involves the culitvation of a patient's own collagen producing cells. I had never heard of them, nor their process before.

Unfortunately, after looking at there financials, they may go belly up at anytime. The company is $90 million in debt and in need of further financing. Therefore, they may enter Chapter 11 before their scar treatment is marketable - assuming successful trials.

Does everyone else here know about Isolagen?

Good afternoon!

First off, I have searched this site and others for literally years for a "cure" to my oily skin. Likewise, I have tried all the different gimics and treatments - none of which have been all that effective.
Sometimes it feels unbearable to go through my day like this, and I see no reason why we have to suffer from gross, shiny skin. Oily skin seems like a very treatable condition, yet nothing has been put on the market. Why is this condition avoided by researchers and the drug companies? Is it a lack of profit or caring? I am confident it could be remedied if given enough attention. Maybe we should start an awareness group:)
Does anyone else feel neglected as a person with chronic oily skin and believe an effective treatment should be available by now? As anyone who took accutane knows, sebacous glands can be controlled, if not shut down completely.

We need to keep an Acell/regenerative medicine thread going,l because a lot seems to be happening in this area as we speak. I personally feel like it's Acell or bust at this point, because quit frankly, most procedures don't work and regenrative healing seems like it could be the breakthrough in acne scar treatment.
So, anybody heard anything about the trials they have been performing on the soldier this fall or anything for that matter? I recently saw an article published this month by a Dr. who was experimenting with Acell's ability to treat scars for hair transplant patients. Sounds promising I must say!
