Septra Question!

so i've been taking septra for almost 2 months and it's worked great for me. i cleared up within DAYS it was amazing. no side effects. But here i am nearly 2 months later and i wake up and every muscle in my body is aching, my joints hurt, and i have chest pain. Could this be like a delayed allergic reaction or would i have already noticed the first time i took it? I also started breaking out a little again today...which i haven't AT ALL in the past 2 months. Am i becoming immune or allergic? This is the only thing that over the past 3 years has worked for me. I know i can't stay on antibiotics forever but i surely thought more than 2 months!! Do you think that Accutane should be the next step? i'm going to the derm next week. lots of questions i know but i would really appreciate some feedback! thanks =)

Hormonal Acne and Spironolactone

I've tried everything out there to battle my acne. I have my clear periods but it always seems to come back. Because i only break out on the bottom portion of my face (mainly my cheeks and around my mouth) i'm thinking it's hormonal. I've been on bcp for over a year and it hasn't made a difference at all. Has anyone here tried spironolactone?? if you have can you tell me your experience with it?? Going to the derm next week and wondering if maybe i should try and get it. Thanks!

Inflammatory disease cause of acne??

So I never really thought about this before...

I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when I was 9 (i'm 20 now). Basically, your immune system attacks your intestines, causing inflamation and ulcers (eww). I've been on my fair share of prednisone and even one med that lowers the amount of white blood cells. Earlier this year I had another flare that landed me in the hospital for 4 days. Now I'm thinking....does this have any affect on my acne? I've never heard of this before but to me it kind of makes sense...has anyone else ever heard of these two things relating??

Okay guys...I'm at the point of tears and I really need help. I'm 20 years old and never really had a problem with acne until I was 18. For a year and a half I tried everything under the sun (except accutane), and nothing helped. I would say I have moderate acne. There's never a time when I dont have at least 3 spots. Three months ago I started the DKR. I went through the typical redness and peeling...then it leveled off. Then I went camping and developed a staph infection on my face (gross) so i went on antibiotics and it went away in a few days. I cleared quite a bit but never fully. I'm still a little flaky too. Anyways, last week I broke out soo bad on my left cheek. I haven't changed anything, and it's not going away. I'm just so frustrated because I've been battling this for a long time and i feel like i plan everything around my acne. I hate that other people can just wake up with perfect skin (like i used to). What should I do? stick with the regimen? quit? i'm on birth control and have been for about a year. I just ordered the AHA and waiting for it to arrive. GAHHH I HATE THIS!!!!!!

New...and i have a quick question..please read!!

so i've been on the DKR for ohh 5 weeks, and i must say it's working pretty well. I never had acne until i turned 18..and even then it wasnt bad (about 2 or 3), just always there (extremely annoying), and very inflamed. Anyways, I've been applying BP to my entire face, including my nose. I never broke out on my nose but I thought on the off chance that i ever would, i'd just put some on there too! but now i'm getting these little red bumps...not huge pimples...all over my nose. i probably have like 6 right now. Has anyone had this happen to them? do you think it's because of the BP? the bp hasn't been helping it at all so im thinking it has to be...
