I'd rather get the Swine Flu than have Acne

Hello everybody!

I'm 18 year old guy finishing up lovely senior year at high school...soo ready to get out of there!

Anyway I have moderate acne- nothing too bad, but enough to get fed up with. I have been thinking about going on Accutane for quite some time now, but I have not one one major reason...chaped lips.

Now the reasoning for this is not simply because of kissing, but I suppose there is that too
; ) but because I have planned on majoring in music and playing college trumpet auditions on chapped lips well...its not good.

However! Recently I have decided that what I want to do is really major in psychology and because of this I am completely fine with taking Accutane! I am not too worried about the other symptoms, but I suppose if anything gets really bad I can just stop...

I finally got the pills a couple days ago and I am on two doses of 40 mg per day or 80mg. This is either the third day or the second...i dunno. I think its number two so I'll go with that.

I haven't noticed much of any symptoms yet, other than minor dryness. Acne has stayed pretty much the same so far, but I'm excited about the future! I'll post some pics up sometime soon.

So in conclusion: I think this Accutane is going to be a great thing and I hope to keep up with this log. I'll try to make it interesting for everybody as possible.
