stubborn red marks

so after this zitz popped in august, the pus came back and forth a lil while,
and finally in september, not pus are building there anymore
however, till now, the red mark still looks pretty much the same
except it's no longer an open wound.

It still get red like it's inflamed if i put some salicylic acid on it to fade the marks,
and sometimes it itches
it takes a few days for the redness to die down, but the mark would be exactly the same as before

but if i stop using any products on it, it looks slightly better (not as red, but still dark)
and looks like it's not going anywhere.


should i keep using the salicylic acid, let my it itches, and let the mark goes red,
and eventually it'll does its job and fade the mark?
(btw, only this mark react to the salicylic acid this way, my other marks don't get red or itches with the same product)

any suggestion/idea?

Finally I got a pimple on a spot I cannot care less : next to my belly button. I honestly think it's kinda cute......(I know this sounds crazy haha..) So I'm thinking, everyone must have a spot they wish their acne would grow on, instead of their face. (I know you'd much prefer the acne grow on someone else's body)

So... suppose your face is clear, and you have to have one giant evil cysts come up, where is the dream spot you wish for the cysts to show up? (between your toes, behind your eyes, in between your hair, under your foot.........)

I say: my arm
at least I can put a bandaid on and pretend I just got a flu shot.

First of all, I believe that diet affect skin condition.

I've been eating clean for a few weeks.
lots of vegetables, fruits and water.
not that much of fried food. No chips, no chocolate......

Finally today I slipped, I cooked a bowl of super spicy instant noodles
the fried-processed noodles, the salt, the msg, the spices,
I think any of those can give me an acne.

now, there is a teeny tiny red bump (i'm not sure if that's even something yet)
but, miraculously, there're no major signs of acne showing up.

Instead I'm getting inflamed gum...somehow it got swollen .
But I think I prefer an inflamed gum inside my mouth, than inflamed acne on my face.
Luck, I guess...

and I picked ... again

So there are 3 spots on my face.

spot no.1, I manages not to touch it for 4 days at all with a bandage on,
it peeled off on its own, with a not-too-bad pink mark.

spot no.2, It showed up as a whitehead, I didn't touch it and let it grow for near 24 hours, then the surface got scratched by the towel after shower. the mark is not that bad.

spot no. 3.....
spot no.3 is the tough one.
I thought it was healing, but then I saw some pus is growing inside.I left it untouched for almost a week. but then I know it will never heal if I don't get the pus out. two days ago, the scar got scratched off after shower (and there we go, bad things always started after you scratched it off)

yesterday morning, I saw the pore where the thing is growing, of course I squeeze it out. It wasn't watery or solid, somewhere in between, rather stick to itself...Last night, the scar was kinda forming, but somehow It feels like something is still there, like.. blood. and I scratched it...........
Now I'm not sure how bad the scar/mark will be... it's just like a red open wound......

Gosh, it's probably going to take 3 months to heal. Maybe just in time for taking pictures at Christmas...........

aw ....why did I pick it (cry)

so frustrated over my skin condition. from time to time, I have acne popping out one here one there. Not really a big deal until this past 9 months. I moved to a place where the climate is more hot and humid, while going through some stressful personal things. Then my face started to break out 5 or 6 at a time

They always shows up as a tiny little whiteheads, looked almost harmless. Then I was always tempted to pop it. JUST ONCE, squeezed out a little bit of white stuff and my skin is left with dark scars... For me, it takes roughly 3 months for the scars to fade out, and then the new one comes.

Last week, I was ok with my skin. not that it's scar free, but it looked almost perfectly spotless after a 30min of make-up, as in my profile picture. Then, yesterday I found this tiny bump on my forehead, which isn't even that visible (I only felt it with my hand, and see it under bright light). Of course, I picked it, nothing even comes out. Turns out to be a big disaster I hope that this scars comes fast and will go fast too. finger crossed

Right now I'm only happy with my left cheek, even it's not even perfect. and the only comforting fact is that, except the new scar on my forehead, the rest of the acne scar isn't that visible on a full frontal view, and easily concealed with make-up.
