So I guess I was hoping for a vast improvement.

So far my skin texture has changed but I am still getting HUGE bumps and puss busting nasties on my neck and face. I will be trying on gowns in one month and all I really want is to be slightly clear by then. I go back to the DERM on the 14th so I am hoping after he sees that there is no improvement we can really get on this!!

Some days I feel so ugly =/ Sad part is I cannot tan right now so with my pale skin it looks even worse. I do not understand how we can treat cancer but there is no quick fix for acne. Doesn't make sense.

Hi all!

I will get started first by introducing myself. I am 22 currently in nursing school and engaged to an amazing man.

I have suffered from acne since I was 10. It has always bothered me and made me feel less attractive. But not until I realized that I was going to be that same cyst acne break out girl on my wedding day did I decide something had to be done. Wedding is 10-2-10 leaving me 1 year to get this under control.

I just went to the Derm and I am using Epiduo as well as an antibiotic that I take once a day. I am making an appointment to see my OB next week to change birth controls. My derm has agreed to put me on Accutane if come January I am not seeing results.

Right now... my skin feels like it is on FIRE!!! I am flaking everywhere and very itchy. Still I am getting these huge cyst bumps on my jaw line and all down my neck. With some large pea sized bumps on my cheeks. However the overall texture of my skin does feel improved.

I will keep a weekly update on how treatment is going
