8/26/2015: Day ONE
I haven't been on in awhile, and since my last sign on I have run the gamut of 500 different attempts at curing my acne.
Stopped eating: sugar, gluten, dairy and all processed foods.
New pillowcases every single night.
all natural face washes/creams/cleansers.. and don't even get me started on the uselessness of the OCM.

I went through...

Week 4 Differin - Some Issues

Posted by MissSac17 in misssac17's Blog, 28 August 2015 · 6 views

Hey guys,

I think I need some sort of advice on my skin.

I'm still using differin but I feel I'm making my skin worse. I'm a picker I really am, it seems I get some sort of sick satisfaction everything I squeeze at a clogged pore and get stuff out :/

However I've noticed that I'm doing this often and it leaves red marks - but I just can't stop. And obv...

New Start

Posted by bibz in bibz's Blog, 27 August 2015 · 15 views

Okay, so I am very impatient when it comes to clearing my skin. Especially now, since I was clear for almost five years with only minor issues such as oiliness and clogged pores. I am trying a new regimen for my skin and I can say that the salcylic acid has made dramatic improvements on the clarity of my skin. My skin looks less blotchy overall, but I sti...

holy lips. so I developed a little red spot/sore on the side of my lip the other day. it wasn't that noticeable so wasn't worried. I also am not sexually active and test negative for herpes. I'm pretty sure it's from the accutane.

HOWEVER, today I notice more red spots. the first side one has gone mostly. But midday I look in the mirror and it looks lik...

differin

Feels like I haven't updated in ages! My grandmother recently passed away, trying to sort her resting place and lots of stress in work have made my skin my last thought...

However, after my small breakout a week ago my skin has completely recovered and I am clear again. I have already linked my acne and stress so I am truly surprised I have stayed so cle...

Hiding And Slowly Healing

Posted by hope2013 in Hoping For Clear Skin with Spironolactone & Atralin, 23 August 2015 · 33 views

So I royally messed up my face the other day. I messed with 2 clogged pores on the right side of my face and made what wouldn't have been a bit deal at all, a total mess.

My skin got irritated and then ripped and peeled. UGH. It was terrible.

Slowly, my skin on my right cheek is healing, and I also have a red mark on my left cheek from a clogged p...

Week 5 - Progress!

Posted by Mels23 in Mels23's Blog, 22 August 2015 · 44 views

While my skin doesn't look like it's getting all that better, I can feel it noticeably smoother!
I've got only about 8 small active pimples on my face (excluding all the subsurface bumps on my neck. They just won't go away) and a few that are healing and thus a little crusty. Still lots of hyperpigmentation and scarring, but overall I think we're heading...

Month 3 Accutane

Posted by luwcas20 in Accutane Journey, 21 August 2015 · 43 views

So im a few days in to my third month of accutane. My initial break out is still ongoing but seems to be calming down. Still on the same dosage 30mg. My PIH hasn't faded as much as it did within the last couple months but still has lightened more. Keeping on with the vitamins to try and speed this process up.

Nothing really too bad with side effect...

Keeping On Keeping On

Hi everyone.  It's been a while since I posted as I've been trying to take a step back and reevaluate my situation.  I'm working more on the emotional side of having acne and of course not treating my acne.  I've been dealing with it better but my acne is not improving and I'm in fact experiencing a flare right in time for my vacation to Europe.  It's a b...
