I am 23 years old and have battled with acne since I was 12 years old. My main acne concern is cystic acne, I suffer with this the most. I also get some pustules and have black heads on my nose and chin. I mainly get cysts on my chin. I have tried most of the over the counter face washes, creams etc. I feel that they may help a little but do nothing for cystic acne. I have tried two different BC pills in the past (Dianette and Yasmin) Dianette worked for me and cleared my skin however I began to suffer migraines so I could no longer use it. I have tried various antibiotics (Oxytetracycline and Lymecycline) but feel that they were no help at all. I refuse to take antibiotics for my skin now. I have tried the prescription creams from the chemist (BP, Duac and Differin) but found again that nothing really helped the cysts. I am currently taking a different BC pill called Marvelon.
