So here goes. Today begins Day One. I do not have the Cetaphil moisturizer, but will use the one I have until I can get to the store and buy it. I'm actually really nervous about moisturizing (the humidity is so high where I live!) but if I'm going to do this - I'm gonna have to do it right.
Stats: 24 year old female, mild acne, been dealing with it since I was 11 years old. Currently experiencing a breakout. Will be taking pictures and posting regular updates with them.

Glad you are taking the CSR plunge, and you know we'll all be here to help you along the way!!!!!!!
p.s. it's humid where I live too, so I understand your apprehension about the moisturizer. But DO use it, just only use as much as you need to. You don't have to slather it all on. I usually just use two pumps of moisturizer.
Let us know if you need any help darling!!!

Amazingly enough, I can already SEE my skin clearing up. Less active pimples, and the ones I had are healing much faster. The added morning BP and moisturizer IS making my face a little redder in the mornings (I used to only BP at night), but after a few hours, my skin tone evens out a little bit.
I noticed something odd last night. I've never used moisturizer before, but since I have in the last 3-4 days, I'm noticing my skin seems to get dryer without it. I used to wash and not get so dry - but the last few days, the washing seems to dry out my face more, thus nessicating the moisturizer.
Or maybe I'm just noticing it more now.
In any case, so far, so good! I am not expecting an initial breakout, since I'd been using Dan's BP and cleanser for two weeks previous to starting the CSR, but even if I do, I know that an initial breakout is normal. I've been using the full amount of BP as well, since I've been using BP for almost a year now and my skin is already used to it.
BTW, thanks you guys! The support is really appreciated!

Something really good has happened and I can't quite pinpoint *why*. My clogged pores are going away! I had scores of them and they are all fading back into my skin - leaving my face much smoother! I guess I was mistaken that exfoliation would get rid of them - I think it probably just made them worse!
Wow. This is going AWESOME.

One week into this, skin is seriously starting to improve. My clogged pores are reducing MAJORLY.
I just bought the Cetaphil Moisturizer recommended and am a little apprehensive, as it's much greasier than what I was using. But I have faith in the CSR so I'm going to keep using it!

As for your clogged pores lookin' better, believe it or not BP does have some mild comedolytic properties, so it does help with that to an extent!
Keep on truckin'...............

I've been alternating (and I know I'm not supposed to do this, but it's working) Clean and Clear Moisturizer with 2% SA and the Cetaphil.
Cetaphil at night because it is so greasy, CC during the day since it absorbs quicker.
This seems to be working quite well. Still dealing with the camping breakout, but I anticipate within a week that being cleared up!

Well, the thing with moisturizer is, even if it does feel greasy, as long as it's competely oil and fragrance free and is non-comedogenic, it shouldn't hurt you.
I've been using Neutrogena Oil-Free moisture with SPF 15 for a long time now, and it's great. I'd give it a try if you are looking for more options.

This is working. I can't believe it. It's WORKING. I have realized that my biggest enemy is picking - I've got a few marks on my skin that if I had not picked would be barely noticable. Grrr. Got to work on that.
I've also noticed that taking the time to rub in the BP (gently!) really DOES make a difference! It seems to absorb much, much better that way.
From where I started, I would say there's a 70% improvement. This is amazing.

So glad the CSR is working its wonders for you too! If you're 70% better after one month, I'm sure it won't be long before you're 100% clear.
